We loved the beautiful view of the ocean from the dining area. Everything was as we expected and check in and check out went smoothly. We had a wonderful family vacation! Our host communicated well with us beforehand when we had questions about the construction below the property. There was some construction activity Monday morning but it was not early and it was not loud, so it did not bother us.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy to rent this house. So close to the beach and town- it was a great location. But the house sorely needs an update throughout and the beds and pillows in particular and very uncomfortable. Also- this is not a great choice with a baby. Very little room for a pack n play and generally the house doesn’t feel like a home. The construction ongoing is distracting but not loud. It takes away the view and leaves dirty windows and certainly ruins the walk to the beach a bit but what can they do. Overall I would recommend it but likely wouldn’t return just because it is so uncomfortable for sleep.

Great Stay!

We had a great mini vacation in Avila Beach! The house was perfect walking distance to the beach & downtown. Our favorite was the view of the beach from the house! The house was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Lovely views and location

This home has such a beautiful views of the ocean. So close to all the things we wanted to do such as sycamore Hot Springs, blue Moon Café in town, walk along the beach, Avila barn, etc. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome Beach Cottage

This house was nicer than we expected. It's really close (1 minute walk) to the beach and several restaurants. Highly recommend this house for a stay in Avila. We plan to come back next year.

What a view!

We had a great stay. Was perfect for 3 couples. It’s def a small living space but very well appointed and has a great use of space. We were all very comfortable! The view and location were spectacular! This is our third year staying in Avila and we hope to stay here again next time!

Quick visit to Avila

My wife and I stumbled on Avila Beach two years ago on a weekend visit to Central Coast. We were enchanted by Avila Beach and vowed to return. We made good on that during our current trip down the CA coast as we stopped for a short stay with our adult children. This property offered stunning ocean views, comfortable beds and a very pleasant location from which to enjoy Avila Beach for a more extended stay. We especially enjoyed the quiet of April with many of the stores and venues open but very unhurried and uncrowded.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic view! Super location close to beach and town. Very expensive! Light above stairway is out - dangerous. Screen door to stairwell is pretty hard to open/close.
