2BED/2BATH Beach flat one block off the sand. Second story home boasting beautiful views over sunny Avila Beach. Originally built in 1954 this home has been completely remodeled but has preserved that nostalgic feeling of the old fishing village it used to be. This property provides everything you would need including an site laundry area. All you will need to bring is your food and suitcases. There is a Private outside deck with Gas BBQ Grill and Patio Furniture to enjoy the sunsets over the Avila Bay. Additional sleeping arrangements are available by way of an air mattress as well. WIFI is available with nice size flat screen televisions through out the home.....

....THIS IS A VERY RELAXING AND QUIET PART OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. NOISE RESTRICTIONS ARE ENFORCED AFTER 10PM. PARTIES AND LARGE GATHERINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED DUE TO ONSITE LONG TERM GUESTS. WE ASK THAT PARENTS DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO RUN AROUND OR YELL IN THE UNITS AT ANY TIME AS THIS CREATES LARGE DISTURBANCES TO GUESTS IN ADJOINING UNITS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP AND UNDERSTANDING.

I was born and raised on the Central Coast and I am 4th generation to this area. I come from a family of Fishermen, Abalone Divers and Tug Boat Operators. Avila Beach has always been my playground and back yard and I am very excited to own a property here that enables me to share the fun and beauty Avila Beach has to offer with others.

Location, convenience and views mean so much when you are choosing a beach home for your vacation. You can enjoy the Ocean and Sunset views of the Avila Bay from the living room or the oversized deck. The beach and downtown area is conveniently located only 1 block from the property. Also less than 5 minutes away is the San Luis Country Club Golf Course, a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course. If you are here for the water activities, Avila Beach is a good choice. Also less than 5 minutes away is Port San Luis which offers, Whale Watching Tours from December through March and Fishing Charters all year round. Due to the break water in the marina, there is over 1 mile of beach that is well known for its gentle waves making it a perfect swimming beach plus the microclimate weather offers one of the warmest beaches on on the Central Coast.

Comfortable and close to the beach, amazing view

Fantastic location with amazing view of Avila Beach. Very comfortable and perfect for a few days' stay. Only issue we had was with parking; although the owners have designated a parking spot in front of the house, a blue Volkswagen Bug parked in the spot every day. Parking is extremely difficult during the day as the beach fills up. We could never figure out where the owner of the Volkswagen Bug was, so hopefully the owners can figure it out and rectify it. Otherwise, great little place, neighborhood was quiet at night and we loved walking only a block to coffee, restaurants and the beach. Definitely would stay here again.

Great location

Just a short block from the beach and the nice bars and restaurants in town, this is a great alternative to the ho-hum hotels/motels in San Luis Obispo. It's cozy for 4 adults but the deck adds some nice outdoor space. The owner is very responsive and took care of a couple of minor glitches during our stay. About a ten minute drive to SLO, but you'll want to spend more time here.

Second time around - still the same great views and location!!!

My husband and I booked this property last fall and absolutely loved it! This time around the weather wasn't supposed to be very good, rain was in the forecast, but lucky us we had a weekend of sunshine and blue skies. The picture to the left is the very views we awoke to both mornings. The balcony is perfect for enjoying the sunshine, morning until sundown. The beds are comfortable as is the rest of the furniture in the living space. Very clean and tidy property with great amenities. Even fresh lemons on the front porch!! I would highly recommend this spot for a great weekend away.

Great place. View is even better than the picture suggests. It was cozy for 5 of us (2 adults and 3 young kids) but not uncomfortable. It was clean and communication was good. Would recommend for couples or small families headed to Avila Beach or surrounds.

Our second stay and it was just as nice!

This is our second stay at one of Tony's properties in Avila and it was perfect. The view is amazing and the amenities were great. We even cooked a Thanksgiving dinner and had adequate pans and dishes to prepare a great meal that we enjoyed on the deck. The beds were very comfortable too.
