2BED/2BATH Beach flat one block off the sand. Second story home boasting beautiful views over sunny Avila Beach. Originally built in 1954 this home has been completely remodeled but has preserved that nostalgic feeling of the old fishing village it used to be. This property provides everything you would need including an site laundry area. All you will need to bring is your food and suitcases. There is a Private outside deck with Gas BBQ Grill and Patio Furniture to enjoy the sunsets over the Avila Bay. Additional sleeping arrangements are available by way of an air mattress as well. WIFI is available with nice size flat screen televisions through out the home.....

NOTICE!!!!!..... THIS IS A VERY RELAXING AND QUIET PART OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. NOISE RESTRICTIONS ARE ENFORCED AFTER 10PM. PARTIES AND LARGE GATHERINGS ARE NOT PERMITTED DUE TO ONSITE LONG TERM GUESTS. WE ASK THAT PARENTS DO NOT ALLOWED CHILDREN TO RUN AROUND AND SCREAM IN UNITS AT ANY TIME AS THIS CREATES LARGE DISTURBANCES TO GUESTS IN ADJOINING UNITS. MONTHLY RENTAL AVAILABLE.

I was born and raised on the Central Coast and I am 4th generation to this area. I come from a family of Fishermen, Abalone Divers and Tug Boat Operators. Avila Beach has always been my playground and back yard and I am very excited to own a property here that enables me to share the fun and beauty Avila Beach has to offer with others.

Location, convenience and views mean so much when you are choosing a beach home for your vacation. You can enjoy the Ocean and Sunset views of the Avila Bay from the living room or the oversized deck. The beach and downtown area is conveniently located only 1 block from the property. Also less than 5 minutes away is the San Luis Country Club Golf Course, a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course. If you are here for the water activities, Avila Beach is a good choice. Also less than 5 minutes away is Port San Luis which offers, Whale Watching Tours from December through March and Fishing Charters all year round. Due to the break water in the marina, there is over 1 mile of beach that is well known for its gentle waves making it a perfect swimming beach plus the microclimate weather offers one of the warmest beaches on on the Central Coast.

Great location in Avila

This property had was ideal for a stay in Avila Beach, being a block off the beach and beautiful bay view from the balcony.

We had two couples staying, each with their own Queen bed and bath.

Pros

View of bay, location to shops and beach, and close enough to SLO for trips in for dinner. Cost was pretty good in comparison to hotel options

Cons

On the smaller size for living area (OK if you plan a short stay or plan to be out a lot). Pretty basic amenities. Very small shower stall in second bath. Beds were VERY firm. Building next door has flood lights that flood the side of the house and window covers are not adequate to block the light out.

A beautifully remodeled, modern property w/stunning beach views, can walk to beach/bars/restaurants

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. However, I do have some useful feedback for you. I'm considering renting this property again next year for a longer period of time, possibly a week, and my relatives also want to rent the unit next door. The issues that were less than ideal are as follows:

1. Sleeps 5 is NOT accurate. The beautiful, but pleather sofa was very uncomfortable to sleep in. The sturdy plastic material is too hot to sleep on. My son suffered through it for 3 nights. That's my biggest gripe.

2. The coffee pot needs to be replaced. It takes about 1/2 hour to make coffee

3. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. It's old and rusty in some areas and it makes no ice nor dispenses filtered water. For the fee, I feel I shouldn't have to go shlepping into town to find water to drink and ice.

4. Please provide a mopping bucket

5. The lights in the living room are too bright. Come evening, a relaxing lighting would be more cozy, maybe a lamp.

6. The patio umbrella needs to be secured. The wind blew it off its base a couple times, once onto the roof, leaving us w/o shade.

Incredible view and very clean rental

The photo of the view doesn't do it justice. It's so beautiful looking out over Avila Beach from both the balcony and the living room. You can hear the waves crashing. So relaxing.

The rental is very clean, the beds are comfortable, and it had all the amenities for a wonderful stay. I think my son's favorite feature were the candy machines!

The couch doesn't pull out to a sofa bed, but there were two air mattresses. Plenty of blankets too.

We really enjoyed this rental and hope to return next summer!

Great family time

We absolutely enjoyed staying here on our visit to Avila. It was a perfect set-up for our family. The view was gorgeous. It was also extremely close to everything we wanted to do. Just walk down to the shops, beach and hikes. Also a short drive to Pismo and SLO. Great time! Thank you and we definitely plan to return.

Perfect for our family of five!

Our family of five - 2 adults and 3 young children - spent a week here in June. This condo is in a perfect location! The walk to the beach is two minutes. The condo is well-stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, it's super clean, has amazing views, quiet neighbors, peaceful evenings, and comfy beds. If you have a chance to book it...do it! You will not be disappointed! There is so much to do in Avila Beach, and this condo is a perfect home base for all of your activities. It's a gem and we can't wait to go back and stay here again.
