Guests can launch the provided kayaks, including two adult kayaks and one child kayak for guests under 100 pounds, float the afternoon away on lake toys such as floating mats, number floats, and adult-size tubes, or relax by the shoreline while enjoying peaceful lake views from the hammocks or woven chair swing. During the off season, the lower lake levels reveal the unique landscape of the exposed lake bed, creating a fun area to explore along the shoreline. The property features approximately 787 feet of shoreline access, with stairs leading down toward the lake and the fire pit area, making it easy to enjoy outdoor fun and cozy evenings under the stars. Guests also have convenient access to a TVA boat launch with parking located about a two minute walk away at the end of Atchley Road. Upstairs, a large covered deck with string lights and seating for four offers the perfect setting for lakeside dining and sunset views, while the covered downstairs patio provides additional seating and a tall propane heater so you can comfortably enjoy the outdoors even during cooler months. The overall stay was good except for the smoke alarms kept going off when we first got there. My husband called the emergency number that was provided & spoke to someone they said to take them all off the ones that were going off. They said they would be coming the next morning & nobody showed up. That was very unprofessional. The tv in one of the bedrooms we couldn’t get to connect to our streaming apps. The ice maker on the first floor freezer didn’t make ice & we had to buy a bag of ice. Two of the white bath towels looked dirty & stained. The first floor bathroom needs a cabinet or table so people can put their necessities on it & not on the floor. The upstairs bedrooms needs garbage pails & the upstairs bedrooms you can’t turn the light off without turning the fan off too. The cord at the top of the fan is too high for someone to reach without climbing on the beds. The porch light at the top of the stairs wasn’t working so we had to use our flashlights when we would be going back & forth from the top floor to the bottom floor. The WiFi wasn’t good. I guess because we’re in the middle of no where. It kept pausing & disconnecting. I hope someone’s else’s stay is better. We will not being coming back only because it’s so far away from where we live.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry that your stay didn't meet the experience we strive to provide. We especially apologize for the smoke alarm issue and that no one followed through after you were told someone would come the next morning. We understand how frustrating that must have been, and we'll be addressing that with our team. We also appreciate you letting us know about the TV, ice maker, towels, porch light, Wi-Fi, and the suggestions for the bathroom and bedrooms. We'll be reviewing each of these items so they can be addressed. Thank you for staying with us, and we wish you and your family all the best.

We loved our stay! The fireworks on the 4th of July were amazing. We had an early check in, when we pulled up, they were still cleaning, but immediately pulled out when they saw us. The water was lower than normal, but that’s no one’s fault and we still had an amazing time. The grass wasn’t cut, but we assume that was because of the rain prior to our stay. We thought maybe someone would show to cut grass, but they never did. The AC wasn’t cooling when we arrived, but a quick call and someone was sent out. The house is great as long as you don’t mind having to walk out and around to get upstairs. We were fine with that, but man, the heat made it rough. The house was clean, but we had to clean some things. The chairs outside had not been cleaned off. They had dead bugs and dirt on them. There were dead bugs in the storm doors. Even though we came in after they cleaned, the downstairs had a smell. We bought air fresheners. The downstairs towel holder kept falling off. My husband attempted to fix, but the screws were stripped. The downstairs storm door knobs kept falling off. If you shut the storm doors before closing the main doors, it causes the main knob to go under the storm handle. This prevents you from turning the storm handle to get entry to house. The shower water pressure downstairs needs adjusted. Outdoor pest control is needed- we had ants crawling on us as soon as we sat down. With a few updates, this house will get even more amazing. We’ll be back.
