The kitchen is a timeless centerpiece, featuring a timeless La Cornue gas oven and cooktop from Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône, France, complemented by a whisper-quiet, American-made Vent-A-Hood. Guests are invited to celebrate Old World culinary traditions using top-of-the-line All-Clad cookware and glassware. Custom cabinetry, the kitchen island, and soaring eight-foot barn doors are handcrafted on-site from reclaimed heart pine, sourced during the home’s renovations. Entertainment is seemlessly modern with a Samsung 4k Smart television, offering complimentary access to Youtube TV, Netflix, Amazon, and Prime Video. This one queen bedroom suite is designed for rest, offering sound machines, surrounded by cypress shiplap walls and centuries-old heart pine—much of it dating back to the early 1600’s. The bathrooms are masterful blends of history and luxury, tiled with original repurposed Vermont slate dating to 1851, when the house was built by shipwrights. Salvaged standing-seam tin from the original front porch roof forms a striking backsplash behind the hand-hammered, nickel-plated vessel sink. A period-inspired water closet sourced from Kent, England complete the Old World aesthetic. Outdoors, guests can embrace the Charleston tradition: relaxing on the porch and enjoying the coastal breeze. Rocking chairs overlook Cannon Street, while a private rear porch and patio offer additional space to unwind, complete with a lounge sofa and Acorn barbecue grill. Operating Permit: OP2025-06529

We greatly appreciate your recommendation and hope to host you again on your next visit to Charleston!
The apartment is at an ideal location. Easy walk to King Street and there are nice restaurants nearby. The living room and kitchen are spacious with exquisite decorations. Sipping coffee and reading a book on the second floor patio was a real treatment. Designated parking space crossing the street is a plus. The hosts couldn't be nicer. Elizabeth greeted us in person and gave us a run-through of the apartment. We won't hesitate to stay here again for our return trip to Charleston.

We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the apartment’s central location and were able to easily explore King Street and the surrounding restaurants. It’s great to know the spacious living areas and second-floor patio helped make your stay relaxing and memorable.
We’re especially happy that the designated parking and personal welcome from Elizabeth added to your experience. Hosting guests like you is truly a pleasure, and we greatly appreciate your kind words.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Charleston for another stay soon!
Absolutely beautiful and well kept home with the Charleston feel and convenient to everything! The pictures are what you see but don't give this place justice for the beauty and charm of the overall intire property. The hosts/family were super helpful, friendly and professional. They left a book inside with great details on favorite places for shops, food, ect. if you have never been which was really helpful. Definitely a place we would love to revisit and explore more of "The Holy City". Thank you Charlestonian for a great 6th wedding anniversary!!
