Gualala Point Regional Park offers stunning beach access, kayaking on the Gualala River, and miles of coastal bluff trails. St. Orres is the closest restaurant, within walking distance. All other restaurants require a short drive. River access and Gualala Point Regional Park are also a short drive.
Getting Around:
Gualala is located on the Mendocino-Sonoma County border, about 2.5 hours north of San Francisco via Highway 101 to Highway 1. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, roughly 90 minutes east. A car is recommended. Highway 1 offers one of California's most spectacular coastal drives.

December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. April through June brings stunning wildflower displays along the bluffs and throughout Gualala Point Regional Park. The warmest months run June to September. Coastal fog is common early in the day but gives way to sunshine by afternoon.
