Across the lane is the Oceanside Pool with a quite atmosphere for adults and a spectacular view of the ocean. Relax poolside for sunning in lounge chairs or take the elevator to the shaded retreat on the 3rd floor. The Grille serves this pool, too. About Doug and Betty Parker

We are Doug and Betty Parker and we have been married 40+ years and we have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.

Doug is from Arkansas and Betty is from Texas. We moved here from Hot Springs, Ar. after Doug retired.

We love the Hammock!! It is a wonderful place to call home.

Doug and Betty Parker purchased this condo in 2010

Why Doug and Betty Parker chose Palm Coast

We lived in Ormond Beach in the 80's and have always loved this area. We were very fortunate to be able to come back. The timing was perfect because we found our little piece of paradise by chance. Our first walk into the condo took our breaths. We were sold! and we still love the feeling every time we walk in. We now live in a home just outside the Cinnamon Beach gates in Ocean Hammock. As much as we love the beach, we also like going to St. Augustine (25 min.) for lunch or dinner. It's a must visit for you while you are here. Our grandchildren were in awe at the Alligator Farm on A1A, and loved feeding the dolphins at Marineland (15 min.). There are several activities you can do with them. Our son took them to Walt Disney World (90 min.) for a long fun filled day. He enjoys kayaking and his wife enjoys shopping at the St. Augustine Premium Outlet Malls (30 min). Go south to world famous Daytona Beach. You can drive on the beach or go explore the Daytona International Speedway. Whatever you decide, we are here with answers for you. There is no way you can come to our little paradise without having the best time.

What makes this condo unique

VRBO has a Hospitality App that gives you info on navigating, exploring and enjoying our beautiful area. Also, keeps necessary codes for your reference when needed. The view from the balcony is the best! at Cinnamon Beach. It is amazing with the ocean always changing colors and the waves changing with the tides. Picture yourself enjoying all of this every morning with your coffee or a cocktail at sunset.

There is no better view at Cinnamon Beach!! No added costs for amenities and booking. We are always available for help.

Highly recommend this condo!

  • 5 of 5

Just spent a month here over Christmas. Pictures do not do it justice. The condo was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and provided everything anyone would need for a comfortable stay. But the real surprise was the view. We had morning coffee on the balcony which over looked the blue ocean. It was spectacular! The entire complex was pristine and very well maintained. Betty and Doug, owners, are wonderful to work with. They were responsive to our every need. They even provided a list of restaurants and community resources which we found useful. We have stayed at many condos over the years. This far and away was the best ever. So much so we plan to return next year. If you want a slice of paradise, you will find it here!

What's not to like.

  • 5 of 5

Our family really enjoyed our week in Betty and Doug’s vacation home. Super hosts. Top of the line kitchen and laundry appliances. Balcony view to die for. Have stayed at many resorts on both coasts in Florida. This unit and entire resort area are now at the top of our list, earning a definite return visit. All the accolades in the numerous reviews are right on. Why stay at any other Palm Coast resort? Book it.

Gorgeous condo and views

  • 5 of 5

This condo is prettier than it shows. The condo was spotless. The view was really great. Every morning we had breakfast with a view. The condo was well stocked with everything. Seriously, they even provided soap for the shower, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, plenty of towel. I have never had to literally walk in and not had to run right to the store for "stuff". We all loved it.

The beach was the best walking beach around and not packed with people.

Really appreciate the care the owner has taken with this home.

Outstanding

  • 5 of 5

Six adults stayed for a week before the 4th and could not have had a better time. The condo was better than the pictures and so well equipped. .Spotless. Could not have asked for anything else. The kitchen was stocked better than my kitchen at home. The view from the balcony was spectacular. Saw pelicans and dolphins. The beach was hard pack and perfect for walking and the pool was just a short walk. Adult pool was separated from the kids pool so it was perfect for either group. Owners were available for any help. Recommended restaurants that were very good.

Condo was about 25 minutes from St Augustine and that turned out to be OK since we were out of the crowds there but could go enjoy when we wanted to.

I would recommend this condo and would definitely go back.

Building 500 is where you find 464 on the 6th floor.

You have covered parking in the 1st floor garage under the building and easy access to the elevator. A luggage cart helps you carry belongings to the 6th floor. Extra parking in front of the building.

Int. 95 and beach road A1A travel north and south.

ST. AUGUSTINE, (25min) the oldest city, is north on A1A for a beach side ride. So much history and fun things to do. Stroll the cobbled streets of Old Town, visit historical spots and buy souvenirs in the shops. Walk in the Castillo de San Marcos Fort on the bay and enjoy the views of the Marina with it's anchored boats. You can take a cruise for a view of the city coastline. Other attractions will help to fill your day. Have lunch at one of the places on San Marco Ave. and enjoy outside dining with views of the Marina. A Trolley Train ride is a must to see the sites and hear the history of the city. Another day trip to St. Augustine would be the Premium Outlet Shops for some bargain hunting in all the major brand name stores. Take I-95 north; the shops are on both sides of the expressway.

MARINELAND (15min) north on A1A is a real treat to visit. You can feed and swim with the Dolphins and even have an artistic encounter with one. The shop is filled with a variety of tee shirts and fun marine toys. See the brochure for info. on activities offered and how to reserve.

FORT MATANZAS (5min no. from Marineland) is on the left after the beautiful Matanzas Inlet with white sands and fishing from the bridge. A free ferry takes you across the Intracoastal to the fort and a guide tells the history of the fort protecting St. Augustine.

If you enjoy history, this is a must visit.

DAYTONA BEACH, (30min) south on A1A will lead you to the beach and the birthplace of speed. Take a drive on the beach where racing actually began. The International Speedway is the home of Nascar and other racing venues. For the golfers, there is Miniature Golf and a Water Park will cool everyone.

FLAGLER BEACH, (15min) so. on A1A. At the stop light state road 100 takes you to Int. 95. Thru the light on the left is the fishing pier and a place to lunch and enjoy the views of beach and ocean. Take a stroll out on the pier and see what the catch of the day is. There are many places to have lunch or dinner along A1A.

BULOW PLANTATION is the ruins of a sugar mill and plantation. Learn about the family and slaves that lived there and worked the sugar mill. More interesting history from the area and a place to enjoy the tree filled land on the Intracoastal.

This is just a sampling to give you an idea where Cinnamon Beach is located and what the area has to offer. A trip here can give you relaxing and worry free time on the beach or activities to explore that are fun and full of history. We have many couples and families that come year after year to enjoy the beautiful area of The Hammock.
