Why Neal Elinoff chose Telluride Area

I try to offer excellent value for renters to come to Telluride It's expensive here but this condo will be clean and affordable. It's in a wonderful location in the winter for ski-in, ski-out access and it has ski lockers of it's own, and in the summer, it's right along the river trail in town for summer activities.

What makes this condo unique

You can easily spend 50% more for not as good of location or as nice. We welcome you to Telluride!

Exactly what we wanted and more.

  • 5 of 5

We arrived late and let ourselves in as we expected to do. The condo was comfy and warm. My husband is picky and even he said, "great job, honey". We scored. Great location right next to the chair lift and lift ticket office. We skied home, put our skis in the locker that the owner provides and enjoyed our little room.

Telluride is expensive but this condo made the rest of the trip seem like a great value. We'll be back.

Great

  • 4 of 5

We stayed two nights on a ski trip and the location is unbeatable. It is pretty small but we knew that going into it. Hot tub opens at 11 AM so no morning soaks. Ski patrol bar is just outside the window so be sure to bring ear plugs for night time. Great place, very thankful to have stayed there.

Most everything is great. Just not the bed.

  • 3 of 5

I would recommend this place particularly for skiing. The location couldn't be better. Also while small it is fine for two people. Not fancy but what do you expect for the price in telluride? I had the basics needed. I only noticed that there were other items in the table drawers right before we left. There was no corkscrew however so bring your own. With all of the good you would ask why just a three rating. The reason is the bed. I thought it was a mistake that there was no top sheet and that we had to sleep just under the top bedding. I find that creepy. And the bottom sheet had stains right under where I slept. I sent Neal a text asking if there were any more sheets but he didn't respond. Additionally the hot tub was nice at exactly 104 where it should be. I would have been nice to be able to use the ski locker but we just brought our skis up and put into the closet right inside the door. There is a town bus that picks up outside the place. Info on that would have been good. Make reservations for dinner especially on the weekend. We ended up with Siam take out and pizza delivery. The world award winning pizza wasn't really that good despite being expensive but again it's telluride. I would stay here again but I would bring my own sheets. Luckily I had my own pillow. I would bring that too if you are driving.

Owner's Response: I'm speechless. How is it people would put up with dirty sheets and not contact us. No one did. What... would I really risk a low rating for not having or delivering clean linens? That's crazy. The bed is a one year old tempurpaedic mattress. The linens, for which we have tons and tons, are claned (OBVIOUSLY!) after every guest. I've never heard of such a thing. I'm thinking here that the laundry didn't do the best job cleaning the linens. It can happen, but I would have brought over new ones in a NY minute. This is BS.

Best Value In Telluride

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in January for a ski vacation. We were primarily interested in a location on the ski hill or near a lift for ski in/ski out access. We were also looking to find the best accommodations at a reasonable price. This studio apartment met all of our needs at a price point that was well below everything else we looked at in Telluride.

We read other reviews for this unit and were initially concerned about some complaints regarding cleanliness and the owner. We had no issues with the unit, found the room to be clean and the owner responsive to our emails and telephone communication. While this unit has limited space and perhaps is more suitable for 2-3 people, it was perfect for the two of us. It should be pointed out that there is free parking available, a great outdoor hot-tub, ski in/ski out to lift 7, a well appointed kitchen including stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Unless you are looking for a Ritz Carlton experience and planned on spending most of your time in the room, you will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend this studio and would stay there again.
