Spacious indoors and out, a dining room and two large common rooms with masonry fireplaces offer gathering places to relax and wind down after a full day with a meal and fire. But honestly, the daytimes here are the stunner. The open indoor/outdoor format allows you to flow back and forth between climate controlled comfort and swimming in the large custom inground pool, perusing the many flower gardens, picking fresh produce from the edible garden in the back, lawn games, al fresco dining and refreshments on the deck, decompressing in the hot tub, or just letting the warm sunshine wash over you in one of the chaise loungers until you enter a Zen-like state. Time spent here will restore you.

Location? The heart of Sonoma Valley wine country. Several wineries are walkable, and dozens more are within a 5-10 minute drive. Hiking, biking, and picnicking in Sonoma Valley Regional Park, as well as guided nature walks in Bouverie Wildflower Preserve, are both a mile away. Charming downtown Glen Ellen is 1.5 miles down a country lane. The entrance to Jack London State Park and amazing hiking, picnicking, and historic buildings are two miles away; guided horseback riding is also available. The renowned Sonoma town square is 7.5 miles down Highway 12. Glen Ellen and Sonoma both offer great restaurants, Sonoma a wider selection. Your spirit of adventure will be met in full by the world class recreational activities at your fingertips.

The house itself is remodeled with abundant light from skylights, picture windows, and sliding glass doors. Almost every room has views of the lush, private back yard with extensive lawn, mature trees, and flowers in bloom most of the year. The house has 3 full baths including an en-suite master bath.

Very nice home with pretty much everything you need available.

Very convenient to the wineries with restaurants close by and pool and hot tub at the end of the day. We were staying here when the fire struck and the owners were very accommodating to the circumstances.

A great place for a reunion. The outdoors is fabulous. Wonderful swimming pool and hot tub and lots of space to just sit and visit. Nice spacious bedrooms

Amazing Wine Country Retreat

House was perfect for our group of 10 including 4 children (ages 8,6,6,4). The pool is HUGE and the kids spent most of the trip in the water. The house is also stocked with pool toys, legos, board games, little kid bikes/scooters/power wheels car!, soccer nets..... it was a little kids dream house. It is in a lovely neighborhood that makes you feel like you are away from it all without really being far away from amenities like wineries, restaurants and grocery stores. The Glen Ellen market was 10 minutes away and had everything we needed. Also the garden was a pleasant surprise- tomatoes, strawberries, zucchini, cucumbers were all in season. Bedrooms were all a nice size and the owners provided everything you could need- linens, towels, shampoo, etc. The only bedroom that was on the small side was the one with the twin beds but it is perfect for kids. I miss our stay already.

Beautiful Relaxing Getaway

We really felt at home in this roomy estate. This is the perfect house for a quiet getaway. Great for relaxing by the pool, BBQ and drinking beer on the back patio. We were able to drive to nearby tasting rooms and fine dining. Wish we had made time to do some of the hikes in the area and could have spent a whole week here easily. Kitchen is more than fully stocked and the garage has a ton of extras. There was even a PackNPlay in the front closet. Tons of board games and outdoor fun. Wouldn't mind bringing my whole family next time.

Beautiful place and perfect location.

The house is great. We had a group of 8, and it worked out perfectly for our Sonoma vacation. It's a short trip to Sonoma Square, and easy access to all the wineries in Kenwood and Glen Ellen.

I couldn't recommend this place enough and would definitely stay here again for a return trip.
