Romantic toes in the sand sunsets hand in hand. Unit 4 of The Nest @ IRB boasts clean, open and airy condo created by eliminating one original bedroom so that inside and outside spaces blend. Savor ICW sunrises and Gulf sunsets from the kitchen and great room. Perfect for a couple or small family who are comfortable with a master suite and ocean view queen pull out for the kids. Nest #4 is a fresh, clean beach getaway with easy walking to local fare.

Privacy is assured. It’s quiet with super views. Surf, sand, and tropical breezes are guaranteed. This secluded second floor unit is one of only four. We recently updated the bathroom, freshly painted the unit. We splurged last year and bought a new mattress, linens, window treatments, kitchen amenities, and furniture.

Gaze at the water from every direction - savor abundant sunlight and sea breezes. Sleep to the sound of the surf. Private balcony to sip your morning coffee and watch sunset Queen master bedroom with a comfy twin sofa bed to accommodate a young family member. Queen pullout in living area for when friends learn you've escaped to the beach. Washer/dryer in kitchen. Kitchen utensils and lots of cookware and appliances. Watch the dolphins daily commute up and down the shore. Common deck area with pergola, grill and four steps to the beach. Stroll to restaurants. Collect shells during beach walks.

While we have a queen and a twin pullout - this is the idea "couple" unit. The unit is cozy and bright during the winter. It's blissful and breezy year round. Let the Nest #4 be your on the beach vacation home.

The location couldn’t have been better. Literally 50 steps to the beach and within walking distance of all the best restaurants. Condo is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Owner was super responsive and the neighbors were very welcoming. Strongly recommend.

Great views and great owners

I am not a fan of fireworks so this was a blessed relief as Indian Rocks doesn't allow fireworks. This condo has a beach view as well as tons of options to keep you busy..books...games...etc. We had a wonderful time and look forward to going back some day.Just an fyi for older folks like me...this is on the second floor...so steps...and there is one step from the livingroom to the kitchen.

Understated, over delivered!

Communication with the property owner (Jeri) was easy and thorough. She has thought of literally ever amenity and her property is truly an amazing slice of paradise in that it is comfortable, welcoming and beachfront! Its beauty and proximity to everything is understated and Indian Shores is a quaint destination, not overpowering. Just what we were looking for! Highly recommended and many thanks!beachfront!

Beach property

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The apartment is well equipped. Nothing missing in the kitchen and everything functioned really well. The bedroom was generous but lacking surfaces to put our suitcases and bags on. The bed was very comfortable. The balcony was narrow and small. OK for 2 people but hard to accommodate guests for a drink. Location is perfect, close to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, etc. We liked our stay at Indian Rocks Beach.

This is a perfect getaway for 2. Right on the beach. Sit on the balcony and watch the sunset every night. So peaceful. There was attention given to every detail. I will definitely be back!

Beach is very close to condo unit. There are four condos on the property and the on we stayed at is upstairs. Well equipped for cooking which we appreciated and also the many beach chairs and toys. Easy communication with owner. We would return.

Just what we were hoping for

Unit 4 at The Nest is a comfortable, convenient,well equipped, roomy, quiet and private property. Inside it has everything you need and outside it’s spectacular. The proximity to the beach and the view from the balcony (due west, gorgeous sunsets) are amazing. The beach is uncrowded and relaxing. Lots of great, fun restaurants nearby. Jeri was very helpful ansd so easy to deal with. This place comes highly recommended!

Love it here!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Jeri's condo in Indian Rocks Beach. The condo is decorated in a lovely beachy style and the kitchen is well stocked (we cooked at least one meal every day.) The bed was super comfortable and the condo is well supplied with everything you need for a beach vacation: beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, books to read--even sunscreen! The highlight for me was the location--right on the beach with a beautiful view from the condo right out to the gulf. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the view (and coffee and wine!) Jeri even has some cozy throw blankets in case it's a bit chilly! This is a beautiful stretch of beach--great for walking, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Jeri was a wonderful, responsive host who made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay! We look forward to staying again soon!

Loved this Place!

I wanted to go on a romantic, affordable, private, relaxing get away with my husband and my dog. The unit had everything we needed. We sat out on the balcony watching the sunset over the beautiful ocean. We loved our private entrance to the beach and the beach was not crowded at all. We were about 50 minutes from De Soto Dog Beach, which was awesome!!! And we were only 20 minutes from Clearwater and Johns Pass with plenty of activities and restaurants. The unit was cute and quaint with a full kitchen. There was only one bed, which was perfect for us but there was a pullout in case we needed it. The price was very affordable and the owner was very nice and informative, making herself available if we needed her. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful getaway with their pup!

A good experience overall, but a mixed bag in the end

This is a great vacation home situated literally right on the beach. The home is well kept, has warm character, and nice views. The beach is gorgeous, with powder white sand, and small steady waves. Very quiet and family oriented. The town itself is relaxing, clean, and safe. One minor thing to note is that the main bedroom is facing the road, which is one block away, so if you like to sleep with the windows open, you'll hear cars and activity later at night and early AM. Both of us were woken up a few times every night. However, if you close the windows and use AC, this may not be a problem. Now on to my three stars. I don't like giving poor reviews for anything, and I rarely do, but the owner of the downstairs unit is a problem. She took over the common space and was constantly stopping us to ask questions about our whereabouts. It was awkward at first, and then got to the point of being comical. So, after a few days we stopped using the common space, and just used the house and beach to avoid her. It's a real shame because everything else about our stay was perfect and the owner of our floor was very nice, and gave us a good deal up front. Maybe you'll luck out when you book and you won't have to deal with the business downstairs, but I'm sorry to say we won't be returning.

These owners love casual living, great food, beach life, and spectacular sunsets. They are avid sailors who are comfortable on a beach, love sharing the Nest with family, friends, and renters.

This unit of The Nest was originally owned by Jeri's Uncle - it has been in the family since it was built. A while back it was renovated from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom in order to create an open floor plan that allows light and sea breezes free access. The bedroom is large enough to accommodate a twin pullout comfortable chair that provides privacy from the main living area - and affords a quiet space for reading and/or TV watching. Our grown children and grandchildren love spending their special vacations at the Nest. It's about 2 hours from Harry Potter/Disney, an hour from Busch Gardens, 35 minutes from the Rays baseball team, and 15 minutes from Winter the Dolphin in Clearwater.

Why they chose this property

Unit #4 at the Nest is a place to balance the lunacy of a hectic workplace with your inner sea during a tropical beach vacation. Our space was redesigned for a couple or smaller family to relax on the beach. The unit is elegant in its simplicity and proximity to airports, restaurants, grocery stores, pubs, and water park, The trolley line stop is across the street. You can travel all the way to Clearwater Beach for $1.50 or St. Petersburg Beach. We have private parking for one car per unit, a fresh green lawn and privacy from sea oats and sand dunes. Did we mention four short steps down to the beach from our large well appointed deck (shared with other relaxed guests), a nice grill and of course, incredible sunsets?

What makes this property unique

Privacy in a 4 unit condo on the beach! One bedroom with two sofa pullouts allows you to 'just say no' to the many other friends with beach rentals who would 'love' to hang out with you on your beach vacation. Fishing is allowed on the beach. Adjacent units are available on VRBO. Unimpeded views of the Gulf, Inter-coastal, Palm Trees, quiet setting, minimal maintenance, cable TV w/ 300 channels, TV in master suite, high speed Internet, , DVDs with happy endings, small book library, convection/grill/microwave oven, private balcony w/breakfast bar, space for games on rainy days. Privacy with grins. We boast of happy honeymooners, baby-mooners, VayKay bliss, Snow Birds, Free Birds and happy nesters on Indian Rocks Beach.
