Colorful, Creative, Comfortable & Private Guest House Near 3 Fun Urban Districts

Enjoy this quiet, private, spacious and recently-completed single-level modern 2 bedroom ADU (accessory dwelling unit) in Portland’s vibrant NE neighborhood – with a tropical foliage view! Banana trees are in full glory from mid-July through October, but there’s still plenty of green to gaze upon the rest of the year. A large wall fireplace makes it very cozy for a winter stay.
This light-filled home comfortably accommodates 4 people overnight in 2 bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed. The 2 bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the house, making it ideal for 2 couples seeking to take in Portland's many offerings together, but at the end of the day, would appreciate a little privacy.
This NE Portland get-away is just ½ block away from Wilshire Park, a multi-block green space with a variety of amenities, and within a dozen blocks of 3 distinctive urban districts. Alberta Arts District, Beaumont Village and 42nd Avenue have unique vibes to satisfy a variety of interests: Artsy and hip, quiet and a more conservative, and an emerging, diverse, grass-roots-developed urban district, respectively.
Find food cart pods to top-rated restaurants like Beast, Aviary, Urdaneta and Perlot; boutique shops, music and events about 12 blocks away... in 3 different directions! McMenamins Kennedy School is about 1/2 mile away, too. Local grocer New Seasons is also within 12 blocks.
Our guests will enjoy the luxury of 100% cotton sheets, goose down comforters in winter, and wonderfully comfortable mattresses with the addition of memory foam pads - many of our visitors have commented that they enjoy the feeling of wallowing in comfort! (Note: Those who prefer a more firm bed may find the beds too soft for their liking.)
With a fully-equipped kitchen and bar table that seats 4, guests can enjoy comfortable space in which to create and enjoy culinary delights crafted from Portland's gastronomic bounty.
