Lovely house with a beautiful backyard in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Chita and Erin were accommodating to our early arrival and late departure. The house was perfect for a girl's weekend. Chita takes great care of the home and the backyard is an oasis! Walking distance to Frenchman and the French Quarter. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Nola!

Simply beautiful craftsmanship!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at "the Vivien house"! The home is beautiful, comfortable and gives a family everything they need for a safe and filling vacation. Chita and Erin are knowledgeable and truly sweet people. Chita took the time to show us around and shared the history of his awesome home. Walking minutes to the French Quarter and Frenchman street. Yet far enough to relax and enjoy solitude. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house, so easy to get around with uber. You have good parking, great beds. The metal gallery in the living room unreal, pretty. The only draw back is walking thru a bedroom to get to kitchen but did not cause our two couples any problem. Thanks

Comforts Of Home

  • 5 of 5

This inviting home was everything we hoped for, from the great location (five short blocks to Frenchmen Street then another three to the French Quarter), excellent air conditioning, well stocked supplies and relaxing backyard environment. The place was very clean and inviting. Chita greeted us upon arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. The outside security cameras (made it easy to spot the arrival of our taxi) and interior motion lights in the hallway were a nice touch. The only draw back was the fold out bed was a bit uncomfortable for my adult son. The middle brace in the frame created a hump that was unavoidable. Would probably not be a problem for a child though. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our choice to stay at the Vivien House and would make the choice again.
