Absolutely stunning!

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's first trip, of what we hope will be many, to Boyne City and the cottage. The cottage was a bit small, but it was perfect for our family. It definitely had that "up north" feel that we were looking for and the cottage had everything that we needed. We loved waking up to the sound of the lake and the privacy that we had. Our boys really enjoyed swimming and having direct access to the lake at any time they pleased. I would recommend water shoes for anyone bringing children. Lake Charlevoix is by far our favorite lake that we have spent time on in Michigan. We spent some time out on a pontoon and did some tubing and the water was crystal clear and not too busy with other boaters. Downtown Boyne City was very charming and had a lot of cute shops. We loved seeing all of the different artists playing music around town on Friday night and visiting the farmer's market Saturday morning. Our young boys are already asking when we can return to the cottage and we are really hoping to make this an annual trip!

Owner's Response: Corinne, Glad you and your family had a great time. Lake Charlevoix is very beautiful, and we are lucky to have it! Boyne has really become a destination over the past 20 years as well. So happy to hear that the boys enjoyed waking up to the excitement of going swimming whenever they chose. Have a great rest of your summer, and let me know if I can ever help you in the future. Sincerely, Marty Moody

Wonderful views

Our family had a wonderful time! Although the cottage as a bit small for our large family, it was very comfortable and had everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. It was great to just step out to the lake and enjoy the gorgeous views this property has. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Quaint Cottage, Gorgeous Location

  • 5 of 5

Our family had one of our most memborable vacations ever at this wonderful property. The view onto the lake is breathtaking and speaks for itself. The property is very nice. Kitchen is well stocked with essential appliances, service ware, pots, pans, and paper products. There's also a small 4-cup drip coffee maker and a 10-cup percolator. The furniture throughout is great. Linens and ample towels are provided.

Really nice!

Great location! One of the only places on this side of Lake Charlevoix that is right on the water-- no crossing the street required. Very convenient to get to Boyne City, Charlevoix, Walloon etc so there's tons to do nearby.

The Northwestern part of lower Michigan, and especially the Boyne area is arguably some of the most beautiful terrain and sight-seeing in the entire state. Lake Charlevoix was named the second best lake in the nation in the eastern US, and second only to Lake Tahoe. There are many things to do in the area, and in the summer, none are more wonderful than spending a day in or on Lake Charlevoix. The town of Boyne City itself is less than 1 mile from the cottage, and has multiple dining options from very casual to upscale, as well as some great bars to test the latest micro-brews. The ever famous Boyne Mountain Resort is just a 5 minute drive away. This is a fabulous place to just sit and watch the days slip away!
