Completely remodeled May 2014, this condo is elegance by the beach. A Second floor unit, the ocean view and the cool breeze from the lanai make dining alfresco relaxing and refreshing. Put your steaks on the grill, or stop at the shrimp farms in Kahuku and pick up some fresh grown Prawns to grill for dinner. The new kitchen is bejeweled with quartz counter top and a back splash of cut glass and stone. This kitchen can easily accommodate 3 to 4 chefs at once so you can enjoy family time in the kitchen. The flat screen on the wall can be enjoyed from the kitchen as well. The master bath offers a shower over tub for those of you who like a relaxing soak in the evening. The desk in the front bedroom and free wifi accommodate those who just can't get completely away from their work. Decorated in warm sand colors with cool beach accents, this condo is the perfect home away from home. Two queen beds and a set of bunk beds, along with a double bed hide away couch, there are beds for 8 guests.
Marci and her family moved from California to Hawaii in 2002, following 2 of their sons who were attending Brigham Young University in Laie.
Marci Paddock purchased this condo in 2002
We purchased this property after seeing it once on our trip to Laie for our oldest sons wedding. It was in ill repair, but had good bones and lots of land! We have enjoyed going from room to room renovating the building and each unit, making it a property that we love and plan to pass down to our children and grandchildren. In 2000 we built a second building on the property where many guests have enjoyed coming for their vacations.
We love the large meadow that connects to the property. It make our property feel so open and spacious. We can walk over to the meadow and play ball or run around with the kids and not worry about bothering the neighbors. It is so easy to walk across the street and launch our kayaks, or go for our morning walk. The beach goes for a couple of miles, sometimes without ever seeing anyone else. Often we see sea turtles feeding along the reef areas when we walk in the early morning. Surfers anxious to get in a little time on the waves before work, paddle out to the far end of Goat island just after sunrise. I can't believe I live in such a beautiful place!
We loved it! Close to the ocean and very well kept!
This second story home is convenient to the North Shore area. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much. Only upgrade they could really use would be the doorknob at the entrance. It was loose and difficult to lock and unlock at times.
We had such a lovely visit to this picturesque island. This location was perfect for our large family and was close to eateries, PCC, BYUH and the local beaches. It's set back from that busy Hwy enough so that traffic noise is reduced.
The only improvement I can think of would be to add a few conveniences...like salt and pepper to the kitchen, a few sand toys, maybe access to a bike. But overall, it was a perfect spot for our first trip to Oahu.
Thank you for a great visit! Everything was as expected and we loved the beach across the street.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The internet connection is great, it's close to the north shore activities and the kitchen is brand new but sparsely equipped. The front bedroom is small and close to a busy road so it was not peaceful even at night. I had to sleep on the couch one night. The neighbors had a huge pile of trash bags we had to see every time we came and went from the condo. The beach had trash washed up on it so even that wasn't what we were expecting. It was clean and nicely located and not very expensive. Marci responded quickly to all of my emails
My wife and I were very excited about our second wedding anniversary. We came across this house while viewing many photos of various lots and thought that this was the house for us. It was clean, easily accessible, and close to many shops (stores) and of course the BEACH!! The beach located just across the street is very clean (no rocks up close) and not visited by many tourist so a prime spot was easily found even when getting there around 11am. Marci (owner) was always accessible and answered every email with 2- 3 hours after sending them.
The house was clean and stocked with some cooking utensils(pots, pans, forks, knives, spoons, spatula(s), and flashlights. The neighbors (college students) were quite and not at all a problem. It seemed like they were not even there it was so quite. The refrigerator was cold and kept all of our food items cold. The bathrooms were clean but the screens needed to be cleaned but that's something small and may be fixed within 10 minutes. The beds were ok (on the firm side) but I didn't complain as I slept like a baby every night. Marci even had some board games in one of the rooms and a few books for some R&R time. Would I return??? MOST DEFINATELY!!!!
My wife and I wish Marci and her family the happiest of holidays and a prosperous new year!!

Located at the North end of Laie, right across the street from Hukilau Beach Park, there is a large meadow next to the property with a walking path that starts in the meadow and goes all the way to Kahuku. Hiking to Laie Falls is a favorite activity for visitors young and old. The start to the trail is around the corner and past Laie Park. About 1/4 mile from the property. Allow a good 3 to 5 hours for the round trip hike depending on your groups physical abilities. Sky diving at Wailua Airport is a great activity as well. Spectacular view of the ocean from up there!
