Peaceful , quiet and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

I spend most of the seasonably warm November nights sitting out on the back deck, listening to the light sounds of the ocean waves, that were less than 50 yards away from me.

Stepping away from the the hustle of city and military life was exact what we needed and this cottage supplied it.

If you’re looking for a quiet peaceful get away, with beautiful surroundings, this is the place for you.

Cute little house on the water

  • 4 of 5

My family and I stayed here while visiting RI for my cousin's wedding. The house worked for well for my husband, myself and three girls. And my daughters LOVED being outside near the water. They had a blast. The location is beautiful. The owner was very communicative and easy to get a hold of if we needed. He even recommended activities which he thought our kids would enjoy and they did! We would definitely stay here again.

The kind of place you come back to...

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week here! I can't say enough good things about this home.

Kayak from the backyard, grill on the back porch, everything you need in a very well-stocked kitchen, plenty of blankets and bath towels, a peaceful private beach about a minute walk away, all in a quiet friendly neighborhood close to downtown Wickford.

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

beautiful location

Nice and quiet. The private beach was walkable and I was alone most of the time. I wish there was a fire pit. I did have a nice relaxing Vacation. The property could use some updating but the view is pretty .

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed our private beach and quiet location. We have considered adding a firepit, but with all the trees and dry leaves in our neighborhood, we did not think that was prudent. We are working on the updates, which included a new fridge and exterior siding this summer, and new bathroom fixtures and stove last summer. We will get new flooring and the interior painted in the off-season. We welcome you to stay again, and check on our progress!

Wonderful time in Rhode Island

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time , weather was perfect, kayaking, swimming and bike riding. MY grandson had a blast chasing crabs and digging for clams, my husband enjoyed the literature left at the cottage reading about all the dining and places to see, and watching all the different birds that come to the cove. I loved that it was so quiet, definitely would go back again.

Cozy cottage with great views and near quaint Wickford village!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, 8 year old daughter, and our mini golden doodle had a wonderful time at this cottage! It is quiet and private. The week that we were there, the neighbor was present for only one day. The neighbor on the other side was hidden by a row of trees. The view from the deck was glorious! We enjoyed our coffee, meals, wine, and reading on the deck overlooking the bay. Also, the beach which is a short walk was perfect for playing fetch with our dog, swimming, and rock climbing. The houses around the neighborhood were lovely to look at, while walking our dog every day. The cottage had everything we needed and then some. They provided enough paper goods, towels, chairs, pots, pans, utensils, and even sharp knives! The cottage was small but it provided enough space for all that we did. Having a strong wifi and cable tv was a nice perk for the rainy days we had. Also, the awning was great for those days too, as we enjoyed watching the rain on the deck. Charlie was very responsive and gave great information to make our stay comfortable. We took his advice and went to the free concert on the town beach, which was fun! We had excellent lobster bisque and seafood at Duffy's and had great pizza at the Place in Wickford. Also, we were pleasantly surprised that he sent our deposit back the same day as our departure! Thanks Charlie! Our daughter (and I think our dog) is asking when we will be returning :).
