After staying in hotels in the Old Port for my past 7 trips to the area, I decided to try renting a house instead. I couldn't have picked a more cozy, clean and centrally located home. The warmth of family was felt throughout the house. Upon arriving there were freshly baked blueberry muffins and a book with all of the local attractions with detailed information and directions on each. The kitchen is equipped to cook anything from an egg to a 5 course meal, while being in walking distance to one of the best restaurants in town, Davids. I will absolutely stay there again!

College Bound

  • 5 of 5

Our weeklong stay at this property was part of a long-anticipated vacation with our three children. All of them are now high school graduates and off to college in the fall. The space was perfect for us, the attractions easy to get to, and the weather was awesome. If you need recommendations for where to eat, be sure to ask Kate. She gave us excellent ideas. The Putnams quickly addressed any issues we had and provided a well-supplied home-away-from-home. You definitely need to try Scratch Bakery!

Lovely traditional New England Home

  • 4 of 5

The house has been tastefully decorated & furnished by the owners very much to our taste, loved all the seaside references, it was nice for the walls to be painted in bright colours instead of the usual cream . Well equipped, homely property. Short drive to the gorgeous Portland Head Light & Park, well worth a visit. Also short drive to grocery store. We had 2 small problems while there both of which were immediately sorted out by Jeff . Overall nice place to stay

Cozy, clean.

  • 5 of 5

Great location, great decor, and very clean. The owners were respectful of our privacy but at the same time made sure we knew how to get ahold of them if we needed to.

Thank you Kate, for sharing your lovely home. We all had a great time and hope to be back again soon!

Great Maine vacation

  • 5 of 5

We spent two weeks at the home in Cape Elizabeth. The house is very well equiped and comfortable. Every detail has been seen to and we especially enjoyed our late afternoon and evenings pn the deck. It is also very well located , close to everything. Kate is a delight and does whatever she can to make her guests comfortable.
