Great Unit and Great Location

We arrived on a Thursday after a busy day of travel, golf and late lunch. The unit was clean and comfortable with plenty of room and linens. Though we did not use the pool, it looked clean and well kept. The beach access was great and it is about a mile up the beach to the Village. The Unit's location on the Key is superb. Phil, the owner, is very accommodating and very easy to work with. We hope to stay there next year for our Brother's Golf Trip.

Great place to stay, private gate to the beach

Condo was in a great location for the price. Easy walk to the beach and a short drive to the village. Had a issue with the cleaning people still being at the unit when we arrived, but this was beyond the owners control. Owner didn't bother us and responded quickly with all our questions. We are already planning a visit again next year.

You will want to check out the downtown area with all the great restaurants, St Armands Circle and a tour boat ride at Marina Jacks. There is also a free ride service you should try when on the Key. I would love to host your stay again.

Good value, great location

The place was clean, decently appointed, the AC worked well, the plumbing had good pressure and drains. The pool was clean, the beach is spectacular. In general a good value. There were just a few issues that hurt the place. The cleaning service did a poor job cleaning the blankets and sheets. The blanket in the guest room was dirty from a previous guest. The sheets are old and dingy. The silverware was dirty. A single garbage bag was provided and we had to purchase more with our own money. The policy is that if you are there Tues, you must put out the trash. I had to drag four huge overflowing stinking garbage cans that had been rotting in the Florida heat for a week at least. I don't believe the previous tenants put out the trash. Buy some garbage totes with wheels or pay for a dumpster. Or pay someone to put the trash out. Forcing your tenant to put out previous tenant's rotting garbage overflowing from huge cans with no wheels is unconscionable. That one thing alone angered me so much I will never return. I suggest new towels, additional dishware and silverware, a blender, just some additional niceties. I understand that this is a rental property but a few low cost items would greatly enhance the place. Also I would suggest providing contact numbers where the people actually answer. We had a lot of trouble with the Wifi and absolutely no response. Overall we had a good time but a few aggravations marred the experience.

Siesta Key is the #1 rated beach in the US with the powdery quartz sand the calm Gulf water and beautiful sunsets. There are several very good restaurants and shops in the village area. Not what we expected

When we first arrived, we found the unit very much in need of deferred maintenance. There was a hole that was punched in the dining room wall that had not been repaired. The dining room table and chairs were not usable, because of extremely loose legs. My husband sat in one chair and the loose leg buckled under the chair. There were tiles coming off the wall in one bathroom and both bathrooms had areas of black mold. The air conditioning was unable to keep up with the demand of a thermostat set at 76 degrees. There was an inadequate amount of towels for 4 people (only 2 towels), and when another group of guests left, they allowed us to use their towels. Unfortunately, there was a group of 12 people in a downstairs unit, who had family occupying the remaining units. In addition, they invited family from units across the street to use the pool. At one point, we counted 18 in the pool which was already too small for so many people. We were not able to use the pool until they left after the weekend. I did reach out to the owner and the property manager who resolved the problems, AND offered a small refund, for which we felt was fair. However, it was our opinion, that these issues should have been taken care of proactively, rather than re-actively after someone complains. The owner or the property manager NEED to regularly check these units to assure that they are as described. Failure to take ownership of these issues before one complains shows that money is the driver here.

For this reason alone, we most likely won't rent from this owner again.

I do apologize for any issue you had. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Siesta Key, it is the #1 rated beach in the US. It has soft powdery quartz sand and calm Gulf water with beautiful sunsets.

Great condo and good location

We virtually loved it here. It was a little farther from the beach than I would have

liked but for the price was very doable. Very clean and comfy. And the pool was great too and very warm. loved being able to do laundry for free...a bonus for sure that most places dont provide. and we loved the deck overlooking the pool. wonderful beach...the best.
