Lovely cabin. Pictures don't do it justice. Great views of very secluded lake. Very clean.

This cabin was very lovely. Everything I hoped for and more. The pictures don't do it justice. Views from cabin to the Lake were great. Lake was very secluded and felt like we had it all to ourselves! Loons swam by daily. Cabin was very clean. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great kayaks and canoe.

Only negatives were mostly unavoidable; 1. Mosquitos! So many mosquitos. It was that time of year and thankfully the cabin is well built and basically none got inside but we couldn't enjoy the deck or outdoors in the evening at all. 2: we had warm 80+ degrees days and combine that with 8 sunlight and no AC and we had one hot hot cabin most evenings. It would have been nice to have some AC :) 3. Speaking of sunlights, they were beautiful but we all were definitely up at 5am when the whole cabin was very bright from all the natural light. Almost no curtains too. 4. Lastly, the shower in the master bedroom hardly had any pressure, and the water didn't stay warm. The 2nd bathroom shower was just fine so we used that.

I would definitely return to this cabin! Everything else was great!

Beautiful and relaxing retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We ( two couples) spent five nights at this secluded, lovely property. The bedrooms were very private, and each had a bathroom attached which we didn't expect, but were very pleased with. Since we love to cook, we were very excited to have a well stocked kitchen. The view from the living room and deck was spectacular. The weather was quite cold when we were there (October), but there were plenty of extra blankets available. The owners/manager answered any questions we had very promptly.

It was a wonderful home base for exploring the area, and if you just wanted a getaway, you could easily just enjoy the lake, the quiet, the canoe/kayaks provided.

Great getaway on beautiful lake

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at the cabin which came outfitted with all that you need to enjoy your stay. With 3 teenage boys, the 2 bedrooms plus the loft with the king size bed worked well to give everyone enough space. The canoe & kayaks were great to explore the lake. Belfast is a quick trip for groceries and a must stop for lobsters at Young's Lobster Pound. Supplying drinking water wasn't a problem and we never noticed the pond water in showering or the laundry. A very comfortable cabin that we highly recommend and would return to!

Great Family Vacation Spot!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful camp, which had everything we could need for a fun family vacation. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the lake is perfect. The kids were in the water all day - the lake was warm, clean and fun to explore in the kayaks. And the proximity to Belfast and Lincolnville Beach was awesome for day trips and the occasional dinner out. Thank you! We look forward to coming again!

AMAZING!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin in Maine. We loved our experience there. We had everything we needed. The host was very helpful when we left some things behind ensuring they were sent home to us. This was much appreciated!

Wonderful stay

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My girls enjoyed hiking, riding in the canoe and swimming in the lake (once I convinced them that there were no sharks in the lake :p). The cabin had nearly everything we needed and the need to bring our own water was not an issue. We cooked most of our meals there and I enjoyed my morning coffee on the deck or down by the water. There was also a bonus outdoor stove/chiminea that we cooked s'mores with. I would definitely like to come back.
