Why Jaime Kowal chose Palm Springs, Central

The building itself is incredibly unique. The Amado was constructed in 1955 as a five unit apartment complex built in the classic mid century style. It boasts clean lines with a gorgeous mixed use of brick and wood throughout. The original vintage fireplace, tongue and groove ceilings, wood beams, and clerestory windows with mountain views have all been lovingly maintained and restored. There is a mature citrus grove and the property is landscaped with cactus and succulents.

What makes this hotel unique

This is the perfect-sized property for small groups of 12-20 people to get away to Palm Springs and enjoy the privacy of their own personal compound. Most guests don't want to leave the property once they arrive as it is so peaceful and restful. Every detail has been taken care of. The property has been completed renovated and decorated with a clean, minimal aesthetic, boasting original art, custom furniture and textiles.

Even Cooler in Person

  • 5 of 5

We had 18 girls for a bachelorette and it was so fun we just had the whole place to ourselves and hung by the pool all day.

Pros: plenty of space.

Really amazing location

Updated and beautiful

Beds for everyone

Great kitchen

Amazing pool

Big bushes for private hangout outside.

Cons: need more umbrellas for shade in the heat

Better lighting inside for nighttime hanging out.

Overall we were so happy and loved our weekend. Working with jamie was so easy and she made our stay very enjoyable. Would 100% stay here again. So cute!

Would def recommend!

  • 5 of 5

Super nice house that reminded me of a mini hotel! Fit my group of 20 just perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone having a bachelorette/bachelor party. Well maintained as well and had no issues with neighbors or parking. Also, location is great and nearby a lot of stores. Hoping to stay here again in the near future!

The Amado was MADE for special weekends

  • 4 of 5

As a bachelorette party, 18 of us rented all the units at the Amado for the weekend and what a special place it is! Nestled in it's own little community it made for such a cozy and inclusive stay. We loved the mid-century decor and the main house where we could cook and all hang out. We had a bit of trouble with the plumbing that took most of the day but Jaime and her team ensured we were taken care of and that this was a one-off instance. Thanks to the Amado and Jaime for a very special weekend:)

We came here for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! We rented the entire complex and had 16 girls fit comfortably. The decor was adorable and the pool was great. Would recommend to any large groups! Only 1 mile away from a bunch of restaurants and bars.

Private, well-appointed home, great for groups!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Amado for a 40th birthday party - a group of 17 women. The main kitchen was well-appointed and served as our main gathering point. The space is very private and quiet. The pool was warm and refreshing. We loved the bluetooth speakers and outdoor lighting. The hosts thoughtfully provided high end linens for the pull out couches. They were very comfortable, and probably best for snuggly couples, kids, or one adult. The layout gave everyone some privacy while providing plenty of space for hanging out. The hosts were responsive and organized. Everyone was talking about how we should go back! A fantastic stay! Thank you!
