About the Property

Beautiful five unit complex with a total of six bedrooms and private pool area

The Amado has been featured in The LA Times, The Perfect Hideaway, 100 Layer Cake, Palm Springs Style, Local Wanderer & My City Everyday.

As a historic mid-century property, it will also be highlighted as the registration point for the Sunrise Park walking tour during February's Modernism Week 2015.

The Amado is a private mid-century Palm Springs compound that sleeps 12 people - perfect for small groups, productions, celebrations, bachelorettes, wedding parties, family reunions, weekend getaways...

The patio features a large community table that seats up to twelve people, four teak patio loungers, a large custom daybed overflowing with custom cushions, and butterfly chairs all of which provide a myriad of relaxation options.

There is a large Weber BBQ and brand new energy efficient LG washer and drier on the property.

I have a lockbox for each unit so that you can arrive at your convenience and don't need to coordinate picking up keys.

I personally manage the property and work closely with my guests to ensure that all your needs are met and that there is always someone available if you have questions.

The Amado is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood called Sunrise Park in central Palm Springs, just minutes away from downtown and the Palm Springs Convention Center. The neighbors are friendly and you'll see people walking their dogs and saying hello.

Sunrise Park boasts a beautiful array of original mid-century architecture and incredible desert landscaping.

The Amado has five parking spots on-site and there is plentiful free street parking. The Amado is located less than a five minute drive from the airport so it is a quick and easy ride. The Amado is centrally located and only a 5 minute ride to downtown and most attractions.

Why the Owner Chose Sunrise Park, Palm Springs, CA, USA:
The building itself is incredibly unique. The Amado was constructed in 1955 as a five unit apartment complex built in the classic mid century style. It boasts clean lines with a gorgeous mixed use of brick and wood throughout. The original vintage fireplace, tongue and groove ceilings, wood beams, and clerestory windows with mountain views have all been lovingly maintained and restored. There is a mature citrus grove and the property is landscaped with cactus and succulents.
