Amazing property in great location.
Wonderful home with space for 10 people. Enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, the firepit in the evenings, and the beautifully decorated home.
Good access to Avila Beach, Morrow Bay, many wonderful wineries, and good hiking trails. The owner and property manager were both a pleasure to work with.

The house was beautiful and inviting for all of the family’s activities. It was close to beaches and other coastal attractions. Yet, the location of the house gave you a wonderful feeling of seclusion. Away from all the “tourists “. We had wild turkeys, deer,rabbits and quail that made their way through the back yard. Needless to say, our family reunion was a relaxing success.
Lovely, peaceful villa in the hills
Our group of 6 friends enjoyed a lovely stay at Casa Monte for the new years weekend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the sitting room off the kitchen, the living room with fireplace and master bedroom. The adjacent bedrooms were nicely spaced to afford some privacy. The kitchen is grand and although we didn't cook meals, the island was lovely for wine tasting and appetizers each afternoon. nice glasses/dishes/serve-ware.
Clean, quality linens, wonderful views, nice fire pit, Jacuzzi and very local to SLO , Avila Beach and Paso.
Suggestions would be condensed directions for TV in family room-very complicated to operate.
Additionally we would not expect for the high rent and housekeeping fee required to have to strip beds before leaving, bus towels and trash, making the last day a rather stressed morning with details upon check-out.
Great property for large groups, families and older folks as is one flat level home.

The reason there are directions on what to do before you leave, is because guests requested that we have something to tell them. So, we made a list to comply. I will re-read what is there to make sure it does not sound like a directive. We are happy to have you simply walk out the door. Thank you again for letting us know that you enjoyed the property.
After some scrambling and last, minute adjustments to our plans - due to the Napa/Sanoma wild fires, we could not have asked for a more amazing and relaxing week in the SLO county. The house was exactly what we all needed and MORE! Location wise, the house is perfectly situated between excellent wineries, breweries, and amazing small beach towns (not more than 15min away). We were 6 adults in a house that could easily accommodate 10 people. The house has big bedrooms, big kitchen, two living areas, and dining area, which is complemented by a GREAT outdoor area which includes a hot tub, fireplace, basketball net, gas and wood fire grill, all in excellent condition and well maintained. We had a wonderful time with excellent weather, and will certainly return. Thanks again for the wonderful opportunity at short notice. You have a wonderful house and we would certainly recommend it to anyone travelling to the SLO area.

Nicely furnished and decorated. The yard is gorgeous. Great house for a large group. Would like the kitchen to maybe have more pots and pans and storage containers. The house was so lovely we cooked in.
