We loved the location (right above the pool) and that we had 3 bathrooms. The condo was not clean. The floor was grimy, and I had to scrub the floor when we got there. We saw a few roaches and a silverfish or two. The upholstery and the comforters had disgusting stains. The sliding door's handle came off. The mattresses were comfortable and the towels, sheets and washcloths were all clean. This is tile throughout and glass tabletops, so I would not recommend this condo to families with small children (who crawl on the floor, could fall off the bed, etc).
While a great location, in good condition, there were a few flaws that kept me from giving this a good or even excellent rating. As said before, the TV's are awful (good thing the weather was good and we were not indoors enough to need them!). Archaic projection TV in the living room, and unwatchable flatscreen in the Master suite (looked like we were watching a photo negative). The internet was DSL and painfully slow. My iPad would not connect because of the slow response time. Unit was also not very clean - and we wore our "flip-flops" most of the time to keep our feet from turning black. On the positive side, the Pool was nice, and well kept, as were the patio grills. Beach access was excellent, and the beach shower functional. All in all, a good stay, but we are not likely to return.
I liked being on the first floor and being able to use the stairs instead of the elevator. We always enjoy the smaller, less crowded condos. What I was not happy with was the TV in the master bedroom. It was in terrible condition, unwatchable. We did not appreciate being awakened from sleep one morning at 5 a.m. by one of the fire alarms blaring, and then again at 7 a.m. every alarm in the condo went off- extremely loud and scary. Turns out there was a "glitch" in the wiring, and the management co. repaired it, but very unsettling. My only other complaint is the Cable system- it is VERY confusing and pretty ridiculous- maybe it's the set-up of that television, maybe it's the cable package- whatever, it is awful. At the very least provide some kind of written TV channel guide. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Love the keyless entry and not having to worry about everyone having a key. Can't get any closer to the water :D
The unit was clean with a nice location and great view. The wifi did not work and although I called the issue was not resolved during our stay. I feel the property management company should have taken action. I'm on vacation and did not want be making phone calls to the Internet provider. Directly across from the door was an A/C unit that blowed hot air on us every time we came in or out. I did like that luggage carts were available and that the condo was a smaller building and not overly crowded.
