Beautiful Cabin, Clean, Quiet, Private and Comfortable
Highly recommend this cabin. Every need is met in the facilities. Come with your clothes, food, and a good book. You will never want to leave. Don't forget your swimsuit either for a dip in the hot tub! We will be back!
Beautiful view in a nicely designed and equipped cabin
This cabin has nice roomy bedrooms and baths. The kitchen is well equipped and there are plenty of towels and many pillow choices. Like many North Georgia cabins this one is located along a fairly steep, rough gravel road. From the standpoint of seclusion, it is somewhat isolated but close enough to other cabins to get help if you needed it. It's only about 20 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. The fireplace was a little balky while we were there, but the management knows about it and will fix that I'm sure.
Totally enjoyed our stay!
The cabin was spacious and clean - plenty of room to spend time together or spread out. Suzan answered all my questions promptly as we were preparing for our stay which made packing only what we needed much easier. Would definitely consider staying at Bear's Best again!
Wonderful weekend getaway!
We loved this property and are already planning on making it our annual spot! We had three couples, and it was the perfect size for each couple to have their own private space but for all of us to have a great time together! The cabin was exactly as described in the listing, and everything was in great condition. The hot tub and ping pong table were huge hits, and the view was stunning. The cabin is a short drive from downtown, and we spent a fun afternoon strolling the shops and boutiques, finishing the day with a delicious meal at Black Sheep Restaurant. I would highly recommend Bears Best as a perfect weekend getaway for a small group!
It was a typical log cabin but was very nice .
The only negatives were the shape of the beds- desperately needs new mattresses. Clean and lots of towels and most necessities in the kitchen.
Beautiful property and nice, relaxing cabin!
Cabin was beautiful, but several things were not taken care of before we got there. Coffee pot was broken but staff did offer to bring one out which was very kind. Grill did not have gas and hot tub would not heat up any higher than 85. We had a lovely stay, but was kind of a bummer that there were these issues.
We note on the directions to the cabin that you should check the cabin to make sure it is satisfactory and report anything that is wrong within the first 2 hours of your stay or as soon as the problem is discovered. We did offer to bring out another coffee pot and you declined. Our staff found that the coffee pot was working fine and though they brought a new one there was no need to replace the old one. As for the hot tub, our cleaners found that the control panel was in program mode which is not a mode we use. In the cabin there were clear instructions that all you had to do was simply turn up the heat as we turn it down to save energy between rentals. It seems someone in your party punched a few too many buttons. It took our staff half an hour to look up how to re-program the spa to the original setting. We provide 2 propane tanks and our staff checks the levels on each tank every clean. If one tanks has propane but is low we leave it because there is a second tank ready to be hooked up. I guess you must have missed the second tank that sits next to the grill. You also may not have turned on the tank that was hooked up. You do have to open the tank before it will allow propane to pass. Again, had you called and said there was no propane we would have been happy to correct any issue but this is the first we have heard of the issue. It is very hard to fix what we don't know about.
