Located it heavenly and largely undiscovered Baywood Park. Surrounded by natural wonder. Morro Bay and estuary. State parks. Walk to dinner, breakfast, kayak, nap in the garden. Designed and decorated with attention to detail, comfort, and esthetics. A real getaway. New king size bed, now with cool-tempur like foam pad and a full size fold out futon, gas stove heater, capable kitchen, claw foot tub and shower. Relax on the outdoor chaise lounges and watch the birds flit in and out of the garden. Stroll down to the bay, 1/2 a block away on one side. Discover what we found 10 years ago. A treasure on the central coast.

The cottage is very charming and the private garden just beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and offers everything you need. The host is very responsive and really takes care of the property. We have been there twice and will be back!

The space was perfect for 2 people. The space felt warm and inviting. The outdoor space was nice to have a quiet dinner. The neighborhood was quiet and within a 5 min walk were restaurants and a quiet pier to watch the sunset and wildlife.

We stay at this wonderful cottage as often as we can when we visit the Central Coast. It is peaceful, fully equipped, centrally located for activities up and down the coast. We have always appreciated the communications with owner as well. We have recommended this cottage to family and friends. Anxious to return!

Sweet little spot to rest!We loved our time at this quaint little spot, conveniently located to the beach and shopping, dining, this sweet little cottage was really fun. This little place is located behind a main house (with it's own mini yard) so it was good we didn't overpack as you park in front and carry your bags along the side of the property to the cottage in back. we ate out most meals- the little kitchen was great for simple breakfasts before we went out exploring. The hosts have thought of everything we might need! Sweet place.

Lovely place to stay in Baywood. Easy walk to the bay and village of Baywood. Monday Farmers market was fantastic.Montana de Oro was beautiful! We loved walking in the Elfin Forest. Great place to stay and enjoy the easy serenity of Los Osos coast.

This was a nice place, with a great patio/garden. My wife and I stayed and there was plenty of room for us. Great location near SLO and a short walk to the shops and cafes in Los Osos.

A much needed retreat

After weeks of entertaining and traveling your charming cottage was just what the doctor ordered.We felt embraced by the comfort and beauty of this property. So much detail has been given to the decor. We spent much more time there than we would usually spend in a rental.We have been coming to this area for decades and this place was tops.

My daughter and I had an amazing and relaxing stay. The cottage was perfect for the two of us and so cute and peaceful. The location was great with easy access to all we needed and a short drive to anywhere on the central coast. Hope to be able to stay again!

Brian and Leslie fell in love with Baywood Park 11 years ago, when they happened upon this wonderful hidden gem. Nestled on a little peninsula jutting out into the tidal estuary at the south end of Morro Bay. Surrounded by state parks and with the sound of waves crashing in the distance, this has been our most cherished refuge and source of peace. We are so glad we can share a bit of this special place with our guests.

Why they chose this property

Close, easy stroll, to the little village downtown of Baywood Park, close to the Bay on both sides. A quiet street, with wonderful neighbors.
