Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
Front door stuck. Key to front door stuck. Light fixtures in bedroom were broken. No dishwasher. No window treatment on patio windows. Because of this the hurricane panel was used for privacy on the left when entering balcony. Patio furniture was dated and rusty. Living room furniture was dated. No pass codes for WiFi, laundry, swimming pool. WiFi worked less than 33% of the time. Grills were dirty. A guest finally cleaned one and that is the one other guests (us) used.
The accommodations in this unit were good and I have rented it twice. Next time I am in the area, I will be looking around at the prices for nearby places that seemed to be more reasonable.
OUR STAY AT THIS PROPERTY WAS THE WORST 2 DAYS EVER ON A VACATION. Where you pick-up keys is basically all they do. VRBO is the worst company for 1st The pungent odor in the room was awful hit you when we first walked in door Late Sat. night. 2nd not enough bath towels. Sunday called 13 times for towels and odor starting at 9am NO RETURN call till 5pm then "housekeeping" came at 9pm with towels and said she smelled the odor as soon as she walked in couldn't find where it was coming from agreed it was terrible and was going to make a note to "Management" on Monday Morning. No response on Monday. Went to talk to person in person at where we picked keys up at and was told all they do there is hand out keys. Really!? Asked to find us something comparable had to call VRBO she called 15min on hold they came back with a House with NO pool and NOT on the Ocean. once again Really?! You call tht comparable. NO IT IS NOT! NO help at all from any one all week with numerous calls with messages EVERY DAY while on vacation. We turned in our keys and were told we would receive our money back. Had to find a new place during spring break while on vacation . Still May 5th and still calling every DAY and leaving a message with numerous different people and asking to talk to a manager when we do get a person and told "They don't do that... They will call us back" and NEVER getting a return call! I have never heard of a company that you CAN'T talk to a manger that is suspicious to me. THE WORST PLACE TO RENT YOUR VACATION PLACE FROM. WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW WHAT A TERRIBLE COMPANY AND HOW UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED WE ARE WITH VRBO! WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They defiantly DO NOT care about their Customers or their Service.
This is a totally restored condo. Right on the beach. Beautiful views. Location is at the northern end of Fort Myers Beach right next to Bowditch Park. Nice & Big beach area. Inside the unit is small. Only 2 adults & 2 children max. Restoration is good. Beautiful tile work and quality kitchen however carpets are inexpensive and are already wearing down in the high traffic areas. Furniture & lighting leave a lot to be desired. All seems to be nearly new but is in a 'time warp' from the 80's. Even down to the white wicker hanging lights. Lanai furniture was uncomfortable and the beach chairs provided were so uncomfortable they were not even usable.
All in all the place was good but no better.
Beautiful decor and views. We really enjoyed our stay at this condo and would consider again-but we would be more prepared the next time. A few downfalls: We were told that we couldn't get our keys until 4PM at the office 4 Miles away. In the Spring Break traffic this was a 2.5 Hour Process and very inconvenient. We were also surprised that there wasn't a dishwasher which I didn't realize when booking. Also, the laundry room downstairs was a great surprise (we were told there were no laundry facilities when I called and asked) but a change machine wasn't provided - If you plan on doing laundry bring a lot of quarters because the 7-11 stores would only give $2 worth at a time and each load was $1.75. A laundry basket in the condo would of been helpful as well. Also, there isn't a bathroom facility by the pool area. Picnic tables in the pool/grill area would of been nice as well. The owners did provide 2 beach chairs (I wish I would of known this as we stopped and purchased before we arrived). All in all I don't intend for this review to be negative at all but hopefully to help others prepare better than I did - there are a few inconveniences but the place is beautiful, new & clean. We loved that it was right beside the park. The kitchen was well stocked with anything needed to cook. Very quiet during Spring Break as opposed to places closer to Times Square. The Lanai was perfect and we enjoyed spending time in it.
