Beautiful unit freshly updated and has been totally remodeled to include gorgeous handscraped hardwood floors, new kitchen cabinets with pantry, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, beautiful decor, and 4 TVs. Cozy 1BR, 1BA unit that includes everything you need for an enjoyable ocean front vacation at HHB&T Resort.

The 540 sq ft unit includes a private bedroom with a queen bed and TV. Just outside the bedroom are two captain's bunks for your kids' enjoyment. Who wants the top bunk? Both bunks have their own TVs! The sofa in the living area opens to a queen sleeper if needed. There is a large screen wall-mounted TV, too. The fully equipped kitchen is great for cooking in when you choose and is fully stocked right down to the spice cabinet! The dining room table seats 4 very comfortably. This unit is far more than a hotel room or suite. It is a little piece of home!

Don't worry about bringing beach chairs. Two are provided as well as some sand toys. For a relaxing family vacation or a couple's getaway, you just can't beat this beautiful, beachy condo at Hilton Head!

I am from SC and have been coming to Hilton Head regularly for at least 15 years now. I LOVE the area beaches, restaurants, and shops and decided it was time to get my own place at the beach. Sometimes, I'll just get away by myself, sometimes with a friend or two, but I know however I do Hilton Head, it will be perfect! I hope that you will also enjoy this little gem when you are ready for a taste of Hilton Head!

This property is located on a beautiful resort that is well-maintained and very secure. Even the most remote building on the resort is only a five minute walk to the beach! With elevators and ramps close by, access to the condo is very easy and walking to the beach is just a very short stroll! The amenities are fantastic! What is not to like about HHB&T?

What makes this condo unique

You will love sitting on the balcony with a view of the ocean and marsh. It is so quiet and peaceful - a great place for that morning coffee or evening wine. You might find that you don't even bother to read that book you brought as you enjoy the views of nature and the serenity it brings.

Notes:
There is an onsite bicycle rental company at very reasonable prices and tons of golf courses all over the island. Basically, most anything you could think of wanting or needing can be found on the island.

We only had a short time here but we loved it. If we have the opportunity to visit Hilton Head Island again we definitely will see if this unit is available.

Fantastic place, Fantastic location, nice owner

I cannot say enough great things about my stay here. Jean the landlady was extremely helpful, and replied quickly to all my inquiries. She also kept in touch via email while I was here to make sure everything was running smoothly.

The apartment is really nice. It looks brand new, with beach-themed decorations all throughout. Everything was really clean when I arrived. I stayed here mostly alone, but had my younger brother come stay for 4 nights while I was here. He used the Queen sofa-bed and it worked out great. Jean stocks the apartment with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is great, with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, big refrigerator, food dispenser in the sink, as well as all the utensils you'd need or want. The granite-top counter is great. The drawers are even "auto-close" drawers. She supplies beach chairs and umbrellas, big towels. The Queen master bed is very comfortable, and the master bedroom closet is very big, with lots of shelf space in it as well. There is a nice HD flatscreen TV in the master bedroom. There are two bunk beds that are perfect for kids, they are slightly smaller than twin beds, and they have individual HD flatscreen TV's with separate remotes. If I were a kid I'd be in heaven. There are overhead ceiling fans in the bedroom and the living room.

The living room is great, with a comfortable couch, easy chair, footrests, and large HD flatscreen TV. She gets lots of the major channels in HD including the Golf Channel. The Dining table is round and has 4 comfortable chairs. The deck outside has two tall chairs and tall table, and two low chairs all with padded cushions. You can see a slice of the ocean from the deck and the living room window.

The bathroom is clean, and has a great shower / tub, and has towels and amenities.

The Beach and Tennis Club is well-kept, and has Security Guards at the entrance and monitoring the place throughout. I found them very friendly and helpful. The walk is a short 3 minutes to the beach. The outdoor pool is huge, and has a small kiddie pool as well. There is a bar/restaurant on site that is open 4:00 pm - 2:00 am every day during winter season. The Club is also in a great, convenient location on the Island, close to everything you'd want. Within 5-10 minutes are Grocery stores, great Restaurants, Shops, Mini-Golf, Movie theater, Dollar Tree, Wal-Mart, Golf courses, you name it.

I've already booked two months for next year!

A Month's Vacation Ruined...

The unit is nicely painted and updated, however, it is the size of a hotel room and not represented well. There is so much stuff jammed into the limited closet space and no real dresser for clothing...a tiny underwear drawer is in the very small bedroom. The sofa is old and sagging w a bar in the middle of your back. When the couch is open, it takes up the entire living area. Jean told me she changed cleaning person, and does not live close enough to check after each renter. I found the unit to be unclean and cluttered w personal trinkets . Sheets were not changed. There was dirt under the toilet rim, hairs in the tub, dust/sand under furniture, streaked and dirty fridge and dishwasher. When you walk up to the building you smell a distinct musty smell (issue w mold confirmed by a permanent resident--I am mold sensitive). I became ill after the 3rd day. Upper respiratory, followed by 3 weeks of intestinal illness.

More than a coincidence, I would leave for a couple of overnights and got better, only to become ill again upon return to the unit.

I cleaned all surfaces w bleach. Did not tell the owner because I knew she would be upset and there was nothing she could have done. I kept thinking I would feel better. I left three days early because I just could not stand being ill any longer. Within 2 days after leaving I improved. A friend joined me for 3 days and became ill w an intestinal bug. I felt it was time to contact Jean and tell her what had happened. She became very angry, as if I was lying. She discussed her religion and that her husband had died. I did not understand her thinking. I made it clear I wanted my cleaning deposit returned, and she agreed, then refused. She said I left sand on the floor, food in the fridge (only condiments for the next person) and didn't tell her about light bulbs being burned out --as I found them.

She said I did not fold up mattress pads correctly (impossible to fold and try to shove into tiny closet). Even though she charges a cleaning deposit, it is expected you will fully clean the unit upon leaving. I frankly do not believe she has a cleaning company. In addition to a ruined vacation-this condo is not represented well online. There is no view and no sun on the tiny tiny deck overlooking a swamp and parking lot. Spoke w other renters who paid up to $400 less for their unit in the same building per month. Walls are paper thin--when loud kids moved in downstairs there was no rest. A regrettable stay.

Owner's Response: I had maintenance do a check for mold in the HVAC system. None was found. I could have rectified the cleanliness issue had I been informed immediately as requested in the rental agreement. I have changed cleaning personnel.

Fabulous!!!

Jean has really put thought into her condo, and the décor was phenomenal. As soon as we opened the door, the scent was very welcoming. We loved being close to the elevator and parking was convenient. Jean supplies everything you will need for your stay in the kitchen and we even forgot Shampoo, only to find out that she had some in the bathroom. She supplies your beach chairs, umbrellas, and you'd for kiddos. Everything was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning with our 2 kids. I highly recommend this place to stay!! The beach is a short walk away and the pool is very close by. Fabulous place!!
