About Cindy Livingston or Emily Pitchford
I was born and raised in Egg Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin. I attended grade school in Egg Harbor and Gibraltar H.S. in Fish Creek, and I am a UW - Madison graduate. Our family business is Alpine Resort and Golf Course in Egg Harbor. I have two sons and live in Sturgeon Bay. We have a golden retriever puppy that is very active and playful and he loves to swim.
Cindy Livingston or Emily Pitchford purchased this House in 1962
Why Cindy Livingston or Emily Pitchford chose Egg Harbor
The Shorecrest house has been in our family from the beginning. It's close to Alpine Resort and Golf and close to all the great things Egg Harbor (and Door County) has to offer. It's only available for vacations in the spring, summer and fall. My family is very protective of this house and keep it very clean and well maintained.
What makes this House unique
This house is a one of a kind house. It's located in an area of private summer homes with lots of trees and walking trails and it's right ON THE WATER, inside the point that forms Egg Harbor. It's walking distance to Alpine's 36-hole golf course and just a short walk to the Alpine and Egg Harbor beaches. You can see the water from the house and it has a nice screened porch and lawn area between the house and the bay.

Sweet old house on the water
Old fashioned screened porch to sit in. Wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the waves. Lots of room for a group of people. Very nice Ladies own the place!

The House is Old! Besides that the refrigerator was full of mold. The coffee pot had an inch of coffee left and about an inch of mold. The sheets were dirty. The house was musty and damp. Spiders in all the windows. There were spiders everywhere. The bathrooms were not clean. The only positive part of this location is the closeness to the water. We could not stay there and got full reimbursement. The staff was nice enough to return all our money. The onsite maintenance crew also agreed it was not habitable. So sorry but thank God we found another place to rent for our party of 5.
Fun time for a ladies weekend getaway
Nice location on the lake and very close to Egg Harbor downtown. We enjoyed the convenience and the well stocked kitchen and bathrooms of pots/pans/spices/coffee maker/linens/towels during our stay! Clean and was ready for us to have a fun getaway. We loved the character of the house and enjoyed the large dining table to some fun games!
Quiet, peaceful, comfortable.
Having a house on the lake was wonderful. The place is a little dated, but that was fine with us. We didn’t cook much, but seemed to have all the basics.
We would rent there again.
It's a cottage. If your looking for a modern updated house, this listing not for you.
The location is great your back yard is the lake. This house is a cottage, I loved it. There were four other guys with me; two of them thought the house wasn't nice enough for the money we paid. We used the grill one night, and went out to eat one night. We played golf; cool course. We went into the basement looking for the ping pong table. The amenities listed on the house are at the lodge about 1/2 mile away. The lodge owns the cottage. The people working there are really nice. We had a good breakfast at the lodge one morning; it's like stepping back in time, in the house and the lodge. I thought it was great, couple of my buddies; price for a nights stay is too high.
exactly as advertised. roomy, on the lake, beautiful view, well stocked kitchen, immaculate upon arrival. everything was easy.
