House was fantastic everything you need to be comfortable. It was great for my 3 little kids with the toys and games. Home was well stocked a clean. Would highly recommend this home.
Great house in Phoenix!
My family (2 adults and 3 kids) really enjoyed our stay at this house in mid-March. It’s in a very quiet, safe subdivision and is located super close to a gorgeous pool, playground, green space, and basketball courts.
The house is very clean and well-stocked. The master bedroom and very spacious master bath was great to have. The kids enjoyed their own space and bathroom, we appreciated that we could park our car in the garage. There are even some toys for the kids, and pool toys too! The kitchen has everything we needed, and the washer and dryer came in handy before we embarked on the second half of our vacation.
We were able to get around Phoenix easily from this location. Easy access to spring training games, museums, and Scottsdale. We discovered some good nearby restaurants too.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others!

Ok property, but beware the owner
This property is great only if you have family in the same neighborhood. Otherwise, I would not recommend this area. The property itself has some issues with noisy washer/dryer, dishwasher that need updating. But ultimately it is my belief this owner attempts to nickel and dime clients and while we have requested documentation numerous times he has been unable to provide it and I had to contact Homeaway (even though he attempted to discourage me from doing so) and currently waiting for their resolution.
We followed the departure instructions exactly and left the unit cleaner than when we arrived and yet were told we had incurred additional cleaning expenses. When asked why, he was not able to give us any answers. He also requires a long lease agreement be signed which when I contacted Homeaway they said that should be sent within days of securing the property on Homeaway. Instead he sent it a week before arrival. Just beware and know what you're getting into.
Always two sides... Go with the majority (like all!) of my reviews or feel free to give me a call before booking and you will get a good laugh. Nic truly soured my desire to keep renting to VRBO people but bound to get a lemon once in a while. I opted to take the high road but kept getting slapped in the face at every turn.
Cleaning/Nickel & Dime:
My cleaning service is the same person every time and provides consistent unbiased feedback after every rental. I never even asked him to pay for the excess cost I endured after they left, I just made him aware and absorbed it. The only actual cost I passed along was for was actions he took, that he admitted was his fault and only AFTER his damage deposit was refunded minus the agreed upon excess bank charges I endured for HIS actions, that he decided he didn't want to honor. Mind you this after I did provide documentation he falsely states I did not provide...Yep, at some point you have to stand up for yourself.
I appreciate getting the feedback on washer and dryer. Technician was out yesterday and found source of problem. My return tenants that stay every Jan and Feb for the last three years will enjoy the upgrade as well but I am sure they would have mentioned. As far as the dishwasher, it's a stainless steel appliance that cleans well and I have never received similar feedback...reaching???
I've been a property manager since 2005, President of an HOA at another property I manage and have two long-term rental properties in addition to this VRBO. Needless to say my agreement is standard rental agreement jargon to cover the basis and requires a signature and information on who will be at the property.
This is the message I got upon him leaving the property...a little different tone than his "anonymous" review...
"Great timing! We just set alarm, locked up, put key back and off. Great house! You may want to get a new washer dryer. They work just fine but are super loud! All in all thanks!!!"
So, I hold the renter accountable for charges they initiated and agreed to pay, a washer and dryer was* loud but now fixed (again I appreciate being told actually) and I get 1 star negative review defaming my character...
