Too busy in my retirement! I love my home and have done extensive remodeling. This Spring the pool got resurfaced. Bathrooms have been remodeled, walls painted, new tile floors, new pool solar heat etc. I spend summer months in Northern Michigan, winters here. I am also a dog trainer, and my dog is a pet partner and volunteer at hospitals and libraries.

You have sun on the lanai and pool with shade area to just relax to read or grill up your favorite meal. Large retractable awning over the outdoor dining area keeps the sun off your table. Ease of getting to the beach, stores and recreation center is a big bonus. Rec center offers 22 meter pool, exercise equipment and a multitude of classes from deep water aerobics to pilates and yoga. also has tennis and basketball etc etc. Ground level and bright open rooms here are delightful. Bailey's grocery/hardware/liquor is unique and just wonderful. Best baked goods and quality meats. Sanibel has more land in conservation than developed. Visiting the conservancy museums is a must. No high rises but plenty of shopping and fine stores. Bike trails everywhere. I offer all your beach and pool toys plus two beach cruiser bicycles and a 2 person kayak..

How unique to hear the waves on the beach yet front on a fresh water lake with Ibis, Anhingas, Cormorants, Egrets, Blue Herons sleeping 25' from your shore. Very special location!

Off season rentals are ideal if you want to stay awhile to get acquainted with the island or to find a home to purchase. This is what I did before buying this home and having the relaxing time to look was a God send. The best homes sell fast.

The breeze here is remarkable. You are close enough to the beach to hear waves crashing, especially at night. It's a very rare sight to see Anhingas and Ibis roost every night, let alone from your yard. This home has a very complete gourmet kitchen with excellent equipment, pot pans, waffle maker, blender, cuisinart, kitchenaid mixer, convection slow cooker, etc. Far more equipment than in your standard house rentals!

Sanibel is world renown for shelling and the shell museum is priceless. Ding Darling preserve has a fantastic exhibit and miles of paved road you can actually drive through to witness rare birds, alligators, and other Florida creatures. Kayaking and fishing is also allowed!

The entire island is quiet off season. Miles of pristine beaches to walk, only a 10 minute walk or 5 minute drive or bike trip away. The pool is quite large and has solar heat, not needed for the warmer months. Pool temp is close to 90 during the summer. Pure Bliss!

Wifi, Comcast Cable, Sirius Radio, DVR, and Roku give you lots of viewing and listening pleasure.
