About Larry Bearg
We spend our time between Sonoma, Berkeley and Orcas Island Washington. With our 2 jobs and 4 young adult children in various stages of leaving home, we are busy! We love to travel, cook, read, exercise, do yoga, and hang out with good friends. We look forward to hosting you in Sonoma or Orcas Island.
Larry Bearg purchased this House in 1997
Why Larry Bearg chose Agua Caliente
Sonoma is an amazing place which retains a Norman Rockwell small town feel even though it is just 50 minutes from San Francisco. Our home reflects that small town ideal because it is located on a quiet one block long dead end street, just a few minutes drive to many wineries and 2.5 miles to the town of Sonoma itself. We love it for its bright, airy openess (4 skylights), open floor plan, many fruit trees and the sense of relaxation and rejuvenation we get when we are here.
What makes this House unique
When we think of wine country, we think of getting away from it all and entering a slower-paced life, even if it's just for the weekend. Our home inspires that feeling - our location, the layout of our home, the amenities all create a space where you can relax and enjoy yourself and everything Sonoma has to offer.

Spacious, clean and comfortable!
We loved all the extra touches - guest bathrobes, complimentary wine, condiments and food basics.
The house design is superb: all the bedrooms are at different ends of the house so plenty of privacy when you want it.
The kitchen/living room combo was a great space to relax, cook, and watch TV.
The outdoor dining area on the deck was perfect on warm evenings, as was the fire pit.
Close to many wineries and to downtown Sonoma.
We enjoyed a week in this lovely home. It was very spacious and perfect for 3 lifelong girlfriends to explore Sonoma as we celebrated our 60th birthdays. Special extras that made the home comfortable - bathrobes, chocolates on the night stands, coffe, and complimentary bottle of wine. Larry was very helpful, informative, and quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks Larry and Michelle for sharing your lovely home with us.
Cannot say enough about our VRBO home in Sonoma along with owner Larry Bearg. Great home, clean, comfortable. Open. Unfortunately we were forced to evacuate due to the fires in Sonoma. But give Kudos to Larry as he came by to check on us to make sure we were ok. Hopefully the house on Falcon Dr. is ok along with Larry and his family.
Thanks so much for your concern. Happily, our home and our family made it through the fires untouched and we are already hosting guests again! You and your family were great in a difficult situation and I hope we will see you again to “finish” your Sonoma vacation.
Perfect Rental Home in Sonoma!
This home was beautiful and had everything you could ask for. The location was also ideal to get to downtown Sonoma or to several wineries that were close by. I would highly recommend renting this home. We had three couples during our stay and we all would go back there in a heartbeat. Thank you Larry and Michelle for letting us enjoy your wonderful home!
Everything we needed plus everything we didn't know we needed!
The house was spacious and clean. The amenities were so welcome! a bottle of wine, a hot tub, enough bicycles for all of us, lovely deck and hammock and bobby pins! We were in town for a wedding and we so happy to be able to relax in such a beautiful place. Thanks for everything!
The house was perfect for 3 couples. The porch was an awesome place to have dinner. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the evening. The place was clean and well equipped except for wine glasses. They were lacking enough for 6 of us. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of living space , 2 living rooms for us all. It was a quiet neighborhood. I would not agree with being able to walk to or ride to town. Roads were not that great to ride to town. Dylan was an Awesome wine tour guide. I would strongly suggest using him. He was very professional, accommodating and an all around awesome young man. We bought him lunch both days and he sat and talked to us. It was great to get to know him. If we would return to the area again we would definitely rebook this property. Larry was always very punctual with getting back to us and we were welcome to drink a bottle of wine from their wine rack. That was a nice touch too. Toiletries, towels, coffee etc were all their for our use also. Easy access to both Sonoma and Napa wine areas.
Thank you for the lovely review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your wine touring with Dylan. Our home does provide loads of space for three couples to relax and stretch out.
The kitchen is stocked with 12 wine glasses. I'm sorry you didn't find them.
We are always mystified by the different opinions about riding our bikes to town. (walking to town is really more of a hike and we don't recommend it).
We are 50 and 60 years old and find the 2.5 mile ride which is entirely flat except for one small hill a very easy ride. After the first mile you can get on the bike path the rest of the way (which winds through open fields) so you are not even sharing the road with cars. The road portion is even better since they put in a bike lane and sidewalks last year which extend all the way to our cross street. But I suppose it just depends on what you are used to.
Perhaps you didn't see the map we provide in the guest guide which shows the best ways to bike to town.
Thanks again for staying with us. We hope to host you again!
