Wonderful Condo by Kaanapali beach
This Condo is everything as described and more. We had a wonderful two weeks and would have happily stayed longer. The Condo is Cozy, comfortable and quiet with great views of the Ocean and Golf course and the ideal place to get away and relax. The bed and furnishings were comfortable and the well equipped kitchen meant that meals on the Lanai were as much fun as meals out. The Maui Eldorado Resort is clean, quiet and convenient to most everything on the west side of Maui. A short walk to the private beach Cabana, Whalers Village or Dukes on the beach, restaurants and shopping close by to suit anybody’s needs. Lahina, with more shopping (including Safeway) and many fine restaurants is just a short 5 - 10 minute drive and very convenient. If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of high rise condos and crowded pools this is the place and it comes highly recommended.
Best Vacation Ever !!
When you don't do a lot of vacationing, you want things to go perfect when you do vacation. Everything about this condo was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable (no bugs). Beach towels, chairs, cooler, umbrella and toys were a plus. Very close to the parking garage, central to the pools and the views out the sliding glass doors were beautiful for it's location. Everything worked (TV's, A/C, BBQ, washer, dryer, etc). Ground floor with nobody above and that's important to us. Walking distance to Whalers Village with good shopping and food. 10 minute drive to Lahaina with more good shopping and food but good luck with parking. The cabana was only a 7 minute walk if you don't ride the cart. The beach was terrific. Big waves in December so no swimming for young ones but good body surfacing for older ones. OK snorkeling at Black Rock Beach. Nothing to do with the condo but the large pool was supposed to be completed before we arrived but there were delays with the city so it was still under renovation. We didn't care but maybe families with children would, so call before you book. The only other issue was our bad, FYI . . . if you rent a condo along the edge of a golf course and if it's not raining hard, expect to hear the ground keepers at 5:45 every morning mowing the fairways and grooming the greens. Most of the mornings we were waking up anyway to head out on our adventures so it wasn't a big deal. Didn't use the concierge or the front desk so can't say other than they were friendly at check-in, check-out and helped printing out our boarding passes. Check in fee was included but the daily resort fees were not. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this condo for your stay in Kaanapali. Bart & Nan, celebrating 35 years of marriage and our birthdays.

Incredible Experience!
This was our first time in Maui as we celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. All of our expectations for a memorable experience were confirmed the minute we arrived at this beautifully situated and appointed villa! Views were spectacular, beach and cabana were perfect for lazy days, and we were an easy drive from all the sights. Our hosts made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel very special. I would recommend this villa to anyone. Mahalo Carol and Bill for a trip to remember!
Beautifully appointed, sparkling clean condo with views over the golf course to the ocean.
My husband and I just spent 10 days at this property. We had a wonderful time exploring the area and relaxing in our comfortable surroundings. The condo is on the ground floor with a large lanai that has a barbecue, two comfy chairs with foot stools and a table and four chairs for outdoor dining. There are black fabric see-through blinds that can be lowered in the afternoon when the sun comes around. The view from the lanai is fantastic.
Inside, the condo was incredibly clean and everything we could think of had been provided. Condiments, cooking oil, well -stocked kitchen utensils and cookware, paper towels, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent etc. Also, for our beach trips, there were two beach chairs, beach towels, a boogie board and two beach umbrellas.
The condo has one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom (walk-in shower), and another full bathroom (shower/tub). There is a comfortable fold-out couch in the living room. There is a TV in the living room as well as the bedroom and both have DVD players. There are lots of books to read (I read four of them!).
The building that the condo is in is only one level so there was no noise coming from above. Also, it is a corner unit so we only had neighbours on one side. Although we could hear other people out on their lanais, it was never intrusive.
We used the Eldorado beach cabana quite a bit. The cost was included in the daily resort fee we paid. Reclining beach chairs and towels are provided and there is a shower and foot shower to rinse off sand and salt. There is also some morning shade there. We often caught the shuttle from the front office to the cabana and back again.
Kaanapali Beach is lovely for swimming and the snorkelling is good near Black Rock.
The Eldorado is also quite well situated for exploring Maui. Whaler's Village is a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute shuttle ride. Lahaina is a 10 minute drive away. Kapalua is 10-15 minutes away. Hanna is a longer excursion. The aquarium is about a half hour drive and well worth the visit.
We look forward to returning to G108 and the Maui Eldorado again. It really was a home away from home! Thank you, Carol for your thoughtful hospitality.

Excellent Island Oasis
Having stayed in the Maui Eldorado 10+ times in a variety of units, this condo offers the best combination of it all: view (beautiful ocean and 6th fairway view from lanai and from master and family room), serenity (quiet single story, end unit), location (easy access to everything in the complex/cabana and Kaanapali beach/Whalers Village), and updated and clean interior (open kitchen with plenty of "essentials" [but it could use a bit more area for food storage], comfortable family room with separate bath and washer/dryer, and spacious bedroom with master bath). Perfect for couples alone or with 1-2 children (Master Bedroom closes off from family room with its pull out sofa bed). Also, Carol was very easy and extremely pleasant to deal with coordinating the trip, one of our best ever. We look forward to returning soon.
