Staying at this house in Encinitas was an amazingly perfect experience. The house is located within a beautiful development on a bluff right above a long, wide beach and the Pacific. We walked on its lovely paths bordered by pretty gardens and stunning trees. The house has various succulent gardens outside, on the patio in planters and on their large deck facing West--- from which we saw beautiful sunsets.
It is very close to the two pools, though not so close that one hears sounds of people at the pool. It is also a very short walk to the stairs to the beach and the beach is FABULOUS! You could walk almost to Del Mar on it. And –speaking of closeness, it is a short ride to the famous Swami Garden in Encinitas and to Solano beach. Both towns, by the way, have fine restaurants – of all types – and inviting shops, too.
The house is lovely inside. Art pertinent to beach and sea abounds on the walls. The layout of the house is sensible –and the bedrooms seem soundproof. Talking and walking among people in the kitchen, dining room or living room is easy. The beds are firm; the showers good and everything is clean. A sunny kind of attitude permeates the house. Being inside it, can sometimes feel like being outside, too, because the glass sliding doors merge the inside with the outside. Both the master bedroom and the living room link by such doors to the large and roomy deck. The airiness, pleasant design of the house, comfortable furniture and tasteful art promote feeling good. How can one feel otherwise in such a lovely place in such a perfect setting?
It also has all the conveniences a person would want and for me, who likes to cook, every kitchen tool I needed was there and easy to find.
My husband and I plan to return as often as possible to this gem.
