About the property

2 Bed, 2 Bath with Loft: Privacy, Theatre Room, Pool Table, 4 TVs, 3 Fireplaces

If you want a great escape from everyday life, pet friendly Mountain Laurel offers a peaceful retreat only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge (5 miles) and Gatlinburg (7 miles). It's a quiet location on a dead end street in a security-gated community so you won't have thru traffic noise. Just the sounds of nature all around. But don't worry that you'll have nothing to do--this cabin is filled with fun!

The private theatre room on the lower level features a 60 inch flat screen TV w/sound bar and 4 red stadium-style recliners. Everyone has the best seat in the house with these recliners!

Remember PacMan, Frogger and Space Invaders? Time travel to the 70s and 80s with these vintage arcade games and more with the 60-game Multi-cade game table in the theatre room. A small deck right off the Theatre Room has a table and chairs for two so you can enjoy a snack or just some quiet time with a good read or catch up on emails.

There is a hot tub for 4 off the private rear deck on the main floor that looks out to the woods--not the neighbors. There's also a loft area with pool table and sofa. Please note: this sofa does NOT fold out to a sleeper. The queen sleeper sofa is located on the main level in the living room.

The kitchen is well outfitted and ideal for making breakfast or lunch before heading out for the day. Or plan an evening in and grill on charcoal grill and enjoy a relaxing dinner at the cabin.

A main floor queen log bedroom provides easy one-floor-living if someone in your party has difficulty with stairs. There's a standard full bath with tub and shower right next to the queen bedroom. The master bedroom is on the lower level and includes an in-room corner jacuzzi tub, fireplace, TV and large bathroom with spacious walk-in shower.

Please note that this cabin is SMOKE FREE and guests who smoke must agree to do so outdoors only. Thank you for being considerate of all our guests!

PET POLICY: Small dogs only, 25 pounds or less. We welcome well-behaved, adult dogs. Must be housebroken. Dogs must be crated when you are away from the cabin. The pet stay fee is $95.00 per dog plus applicable state tax. More than one dog considered on a case by case basis.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT INTERNET: Cable is not available on the mountain, so the next best option is a Dish Network satellite internet. Unlike cable, Dish doesn't have unlimited bandwidth packages. We provide each guest stay with 2GB of bandwidth. If you're just browsing web pages and checking emails, you should be fine. But if you want to watch Netflix, YouTube or any live streaming or downloads, you'll gobble up that 2GB in a day or two. We don't want you to have to pay the overage fees ($15/GB) so please consider your internet usage and needs before booking.

What makes this cabin unique

Pet friendly Mountain Laurel is located in a small gated community. If you don't want to be right on top of other cabins, there's plenty of space between you and your neighbors; in fact, there's nothing immediately to the right or left of Mountain Laurel. This cabin is loaded with fun. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can enjoy the home theatre, video game arcade, a game of pool or just watch TV on any of the big screen TVs.

Clean, beautiful, comfy and fun! Perfect location. Pet friendly bonus! Wonderful management company.

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our recent stay. Cabin had so many things to do hardly wanted to leave. Decks were wonderful and even had a small pop of a mountain view from hot tub. Clean, Clean, Clean! Donna house keepers team is awesome! Found everything we needed. Comfy beds. Sofa sleeper in living room was brand new. Plenty of room for our family of 6. My grandson loved the video game table. Retro for sure! Husband liked it too, brought back so many childhood memories! Fun!!! Amy property manager was always available and text made it easy to ask questions if needed. She always answered right away even when she was out of town. Lots of info provided prior to our stay. Directions to cabin perfect! Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and your not right on top of another cabin. We walked the roads and exercised each day. Easy drive to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge. Even found a quick back road to Arts & Crafts area. My son loved the Billard room we played daily. We will stay here again exceeded our expectations in many ways. Thanks Amy, Donna and owners for providing such a great place for families to share! The Boeringers

Convenient location to both Gainburg & Pigeon Forge. Beautiful cabin & very clean!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay at this cabin! It rained majority of the week but that did not dampen our stay. Though we brought our own movies and games, there are a few board games in the cabin, along with a good selection of movies to watch in the theater room! The king bed was a bit soft for my taste, but not lumpy in the least bit. My kids said their queen bed was very comfy. The upstairs (3rd fl) consists of a pool table. There is a deck with hot tub on the 2nd floor and 1st floor deck with patio furniture. The cabin had all the amenities of home including nice fluffy bath towels and wash cloths, liquid hand soap in both bathrooms, laundry detergent, as well as dishwasher detergent. In addition to the coffee maker, there is a Keurig machine...and powder creamer in the cabinet. There is a small grill out front and a variety of rubs to use on your steak or chicken! There are flat screen tv’s in both bedrooms, as well as the living room and theater room. There’s also an 80’s themed arcade table with 60 different games, which my kids loved! The refrigerator has an ice maker. The location is perfectly nestled between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge; approx 15 minute drive to both. The roads getting to the cabin are not steep and ‘treacherous’ like a lot of the cabins in the mountains. Overall, the cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Amy was an absolute pleasure to deal with from beginning to end! Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for a fantastic stay at your cabin!

Comfortable & Quiet Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Cabin was very nice and area was quiet. Only heard frogs chirping at night. Hot tub and theater room were great bonuses. The loft made a great third bedroom for our 16 year old daughter. Loved the key code for the gate and the cabin. It may check in and departure simple.

Very cozy and beautiful cabin

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was very clean and beautiful. The beds were so comfortable. Amy was amazing and very easy to get in contact with. The only faults were the refrigerator didn't get very cold and in the master bedroom one of the light bulbs wasn't working in the fan so we screwed it in and figured out it is shorting out because it started sparking so we unscrewed it again. Also the dryer takes forever to dry clothes and you have to stop it and clean the lint holder several times. Other than that everything was perfect. The porch for the hot tub is small but we figured out if you just fold the cover up and leave it on the back of the hot tub there is no issue with space. We will definitely stay again.

Owner's Response: Hi Abbey and thanks for the review! Yes, those electric stackable dryers take for-EV-er to finish a load. That's exactly what I do at all of our cabins--just clean the lint filter and run it another half hour. I'm happy that you liked Mountain Laurel and will be back. Please do!

Peaceful Mountain Retreat

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was lovely and clean. The gated community was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the theater room a lot. It was funny that my kids were playing arcade games I used to play! Most of all, I appreciate Amy and the Owner working with me concerning an important special request. Our stay at Mountain Laurel was very enjoyable.
