About the property

***Mountain Laurel did not experience any damage from the recent wildfires***

If you want a great escape from everyday life, pet friendly Mountain Laurel offers a peaceful retreat only a few minutes from Pigeon Forge (5 miles) and Gatlinburg (7 miles). It's a quiet location on a dead end street in a security-gated community so you won't have thru traffic noise. Just the sounds of nature all around. But don't worry that you'll have nothing to do--this cabin is filled with fun!

The private theatre room on the lower level features a 60 inch flat screen TV w/sound bar and 4 red stadium-style recliners. Everyone has the best seat in the house with these recliners!

Remember PacMan, Frogger and Space Invaders? Time travel to the 70s and 80s with these vintage arcade games and more with the 60-game Multi-cade game table in the theatre room. A small deck right off the Theatre Room has a table and chairs for two so you can enjoy a snack or just some quiet time with a good read or catch up on emails.

There is a hot tub for 4 off the private rear deck on the main floor that looks out to the woods--not the neighbors. There's also a loft area with pool table and sofa. A perfect space for the kids to hang out.

The kitchen is well outfitted and ideal for making breakfast or lunch before heading out for the day. Or plan an evening in and grill on charcoal grill and enjoy a relaxing dinner at the cabin.

A main floor queen log bedroom provides easy one-floor-living if someone in your party has difficulty with stairs. There's a standard full bath with tub and shower right next to the queen bedroom. The master bedroom is on the lower level and includes an in-room corner jacuzzi tub, fireplace, TV and large bathroom with spacious walk-in shower.

Please note that this cabin is SMOKE FREE and guests who smoke must agree to do so outdoors only. Thank you for being considerate of all our guests!

PET POLICY: Small dogs only, 25 pounds or less. We welcome well-behaved, adult dogs. Must be housebroken. Dogs must be crated when you are away from the cabin. The pet stay fee is $50.00 per dog plus applicable state tax. More than one dog considered on a case by case basis.

About Amy Greener

Hi I'm Amy Greener, manager for Sherry and Tony Young's beautiful cabin, Mountain Laurel. In every sense of the word, we are a team. Sherry and Tony are very active owners and make frequent trips to the cabin to work on projects, make repairs or upgrades--they are truly hands-on people! I take care of the inquiries, guests, housekeeping schedules, etc. so I get the detail work LOL But between the 3 of us, it all comes together for when you stay at Mountain Laurel.

What makes this cabin unique

Pet friendly Mountain Laurel is located in a small gated community. If you don't want to be right on top of other cabins, there's plenty of space between you and your neighbors; in fact, there's nothing immediately to the right or left of Mountain Laurel. This cabin is loaded with fun. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can enjoy the home theatre, video game arcade, a game of pool or just watch TV on any of the big screen TVs.

Clean, beautiful, comfy and fun! Perfect location. Pet friendly bonus! Wonderful management company.

We enjoyed our recent stay. Cabin had so many things to do hardly wanted to leave. Decks were wonderful and even had a small pop of a mountain view from hot tub. Clean, Clean, Clean! Donna house keepers team is awesome! Found everything we needed. Comfy beds. Sofa sleeper in living room was brand new. Plenty of room for our family of 6. My grandson loved the video game table. Retro for sure! Husband liked it too, brought back so many childhood memories! Fun!!! Amy property manager was always available and text made it easy to ask questions if needed. She always answered right away even when she was out of town. Lots of info provided prior to our stay. Directions to cabin perfect! Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and your not right on top of another cabin. We walked the roads and exercised each day. Easy drive to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge. Even found a quick back road to Arts & Crafts area. My son loved the Billard room we played daily. We will stay here again exceeded our expectations in many ways. Thanks Amy, Donna and owners for providing such a great place for families to share! The Boeringers

Family had a wonderful vacation!

  • 4 of 5

Spent a week at Mountain Laurel in late September. Our family had a great time. Spacious, yet cozy, and very clean. Close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Bit of drive to get to the National Park, especially Newfound Gap or Cades Cove. Not much deck room, but fantastic front porch. Bring camping chairs, the front porch chairs are not super comfortable. But overall great cabin and location.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review, Todd. I'm pleased your family had a good week at Mountain Laurel and liked the proximity to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The owners are actually on the hunt for new front porch rockers or chairs but in the off-season it's hard to find exactly what they're looking for lol We'll definitely be changing those out at some point. Thanks for being our guests and please come again!

"Peaceful retreat"

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly loved the cabin. We were celebrating our 21st anniversary and couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. Our daughter and her family joined us for the weekend and they were also impressed with how cute the cabin is. It really is minutes away from Pigeon forge and Gatlinburg Tennesse.

Looking forward to returning next year.

Thanks so much, The Mitchell's

Perfect for 4 People, cozy and warm

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was great and central to most everything. The pics lead us to believe there were two nice decks. While there were two decks they were very small. Would have loved to been able to eat dinner outside and enjoy the mountain air. The cabin suited my family perfectly and Amy was awesome to work with. We hope to come back next year.

Owner's Response: Anon, I'm happy to know you enjoyed the cabin and our service was good. I'm sure the owners will consider your suggestion to make the decks more suitable for outdoor dining. There is a table with two chairs on the back deck but adding a couple more is a good idea. Thank you for the suggestion!
