“As soon as we opened the door into our vacation home for the next week we knew it was going to be comfortable, fun, relaxing and we would want for nothing in this awesome home away from home. We should tell you some things that made it special for us and not just the standard good things. For it's the little things in life that make a place awesome. Let me think, oh yes, the couch was big enough for 6 to 8 people to sit so the two of us would lay every which way, just because we could. A very comfortable chair next to it to read by the light of the window or if you wanted to sit alone. Our favourite spot in the morning for our coffee and in the evening for a glass of wine was the patio which had a large round table that could seat 6 if you wanted to dine outside. The view from this patio was very soothing. Palm tree and palmettos buffered the full view of the beach and the landscaping was always moving in the breeze and you could just get lost in thought watching the movement, seeing flocks of birds fly over and see parts of the turquoise pool below. I would venture down to the pool before 8 every morning before anyone was there, and swim laps in the pool, sit in the hot tub and do stretching on the deck that sat between the pool and the beach. What a wonderful way to start the day. Our days consisted of riding bikes on the beach, biking almost everywhere on the numerous bike paths. We brought our bikes but rental is definitely the way to go also. Never saw so many families riding bikes together and the paths are safe and a distance from the road thru shaded and beautiful landscaping. Rented an umbrella and chairs a few times, swam in the calm waters and walked the wide shell-less beach that was great for jogging and biking. Rented a sailboat, went kayaking, ventured into Savannah for a late lunch and had wonderful meals locally. We loved Stacks for breakfast, we biked there. Had a wonderful experience foodwise at Fishcamp and sitting in the comfortable wicker furniture on the Sound. Can you tell, we had a great time and we live in the beach community of Wilmington, N.C. and still found this to be an awesome vacation.”
“Ok, so your home was awesome and Tom and I were saying if we ever went back to Hilton Head, we would want to stay at your place. It was so comfortable and beautifully decorated. Every morning we sat on the patio and had our coffee and read or did cell phone stuff while watching the breeze blow the trees back and forth, watch the people heading for an early morning walk on the beach or see a flight of birds pass by. How fortunate for you to have this in your life and thank you for sharing it with us.”
