Why Mark Paine chose Seawall
This property has been in our family, inherited, since the mid 1940's. I have traveled to many parts of the world and consider this area to be among the most beautiful of destinations to visit.

Great home for our family vacation to Mt. DESERT ISLAND.
Roomy home with everything you will need. Beautiful view, quiet setting (we saw several deer in the front yard), and a homey feel.
A large old house that is like a museum and one my grandmother would have lived in
The house is large and very lived in. It is in a nice quiet area with a water view in the distance. The walls and dining room ceiling are covered in various wallpapers, primarily flowers. There are lots of pictures and collectibles to look at. It’s very interesting. It was fairly clean and there were lots of towels but no toiletries. The beds have been around awhile and were a bit swishy but had fine linens. I didn’t hear much from Mark and was not sure what to do but when we called for instructions he was really helpful and a delight to talk with.
Great location, nice amenities, plenty of linens, towels, and well stocked kitchen items.
This is our 8th trip to the island and we have stayed in cabins, condos, and time shares, for the money this was by far the most accommodating. We had 6 adults and at no time did we feel we were underfoot with each other. We grilled one night, we ate on the picnic table for lunch and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of Southwest Harbor. It is a 25-minute drive into Bar Harbor and some of the park sites, but there is also much to do on the 'quiet' side. The three bedrooms are adequate and the house is spacious, especially the kitchen, which has a large breakfast area. There is also a nice dining room for games and eating.
Beautiful ocean breeze on quiet side of acadia
Great quaint New England house with wonderful ocean views ! Host was fabulous and accommodating.
Great place and beautiful area
Great, well stocked house with everything that is needed. We were even able to use the grill one night. Great place for several people. The owner, Mark, was also very helpful and gave us a lot of great tips for the area.
Cozy and Scenic Home
My family and friends stayed at this house for a week. We enjoyed the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the house. Everything you need is in the house including pillows, sheet, utensils, washing machine, dryer, television, etc. The house is located in a scenic area overlooking the ocean. The yard is gorgeous and plenty of space for children to play. I would recommend this house for anyone with a large family and friends. The owner, Mark, was very helpful and didn't mind being called anytime of the day if you have any questions. This house is only a few minutes drive to Echo Lake and about 25 to 30 minutes to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
Second most visited park in the U.S. Acadia National Park. Offers miles of hiking, biking....etc.
