Why Daria Duda & Scott Morrison chose Trenton
When Scott & Daria bought Western Bay Shores, the former owners provided a comprehensive 'book' of everything about the house - ending their description with 'It's a special place.' This statement couldn't be more true … you'll find relaxation and enjoyment here at this home - it truly is a special place and we are happy that we can have our guests enjoy this slice of Maine as much as we do.
What makes this House unique
Moon rise over the water - truly awesome, especially during a full moon. And the sunrises can be spectacular.

Beautiful location, comfortable and clean property.
The entire experience was seamless. The owners had prepared a very thorough and helpful guide to the property and area. Arrival and departure instructions were clear. There was more than enough room for 6 adults and 2 small children. We loved being on the water and watching the sun rise and set. We will absolutely try to rent this home again!
Highly recommend this house ! Convenient and very clean
Beautiful views all around. House was very clean and had everything a family could need ! Close enough to Acadia without all the traffic. Had a wonderful time (excluding remnants of hurricane Jose ). Wanted to tour the island by boat but too choppy. All in all , a great stay !
Comfortable and relaxing
My family and I enjoyed our week rental. The house was in a prime location , close to everything but in a quiet peaceful setting on the water .The house was well equipped and comfortable. There was a good size fenced yard for our dog to play .We enjoyed many a sunrise and fires on the beach at night
Lovely home near the quiet side of Acadia
We very much enjoyed our stay here. We are a family of four with two grade school aged kids - the house easily could have accommodated another family of four for folks who don't mind a house share. The house was well-outfitted and well-maintained. The beach access was great (an easy walk, no boulders or steep drop-off as with some properties in the area). The beds were comfortable and the Wi-Fi was good and dependable. There were ample, high-quality towels in the bathrooms. The well water here is very good. The kitchen had everything we needed and was better equipped than we have found most rentals to be (good selection of pots, pans, glassware and utensils). We found that the drive times to Bar Harbor and the main entrance of the park consistently ran 30 - 35 minutes respectively (as we anticipated). Note: there is virtually no Verizon cell service in this area, so if you are Verizon customer be prepared to use the landline, Google voice, Facetime, etc.). We did not encounter any problems with the house or the property during our stay.
Deep breaths and relaxation.
The deck, the beach, the yard, and the comfortable accommodations were a fantastic base for our vacation.
Amazing location and great house!
Everything was perfect with this trip, cannot wait to go back again!
