Book your Lake Lure, NC getaway! Enjoy our comfortable lake front home in a private cove. Boasting gorgeous long range views of Chimney Rock and Rumbling Bald! Quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking.

You will enjoy the open floorplan, large dining area with additional seating at kitchen counter. Cozy knotty pine throughout our lovely home! Take advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and enjoy the long range mountain and lake views during meal time.

Spectacular views of Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, and Rumbling Bald mountains.

Sleeps 8. Two bedrooms (King and Queen), loft features sitting area and four single beds. Two full baths (one on main floor and one in lower level). Lower level is finished as a recreation room with wrap around couch, game table, tv, and laundry.

Enjoy the rocking chairs and relaxing on the screened porches with lake views. Overhead fans to keep you cool on the summer days.

(Private dock, sitting area, picnic table and beach. 16' Green Old Town canoe for lake fun) Unfortunately Lake Lure is recovering from the effects of Hurricane Helene - swimming and boating are not permitted at this time. We still have beautiful mountain views to enjoy!

Fantastic location!

The location to the lake of this house is amazing. Though we had neighbors it was very quiet and private. The owners were very responsive to our concerns/questions. Lake Lure was a hidden gem. The house is set up perfect for sunsets. Two things about the listing is that the roof top over boat is not accessible and that the fireplace is only available at certain time of the year. I would bring my family back here!

Awesome Experience

We chose this property to spend Thanksgiving appropriately socially distanced. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed playing games, ping pong, and canoeing. Everyone had a great time! We look forward to coming back again.

Family Vacay

What a beautiful week at Lake Lure in this convenient, family friendly property. Paula was a dream to work with and responded to every question promptly. The house is a quick trip to Chimney Rock and the Beach. Catawba Falls and Thermal Belt Rail Trail were within 45 minutes and a wonderful experience with kids. Mark and the gang at Lake Lure Adventures delivered our SUP straight to the dock and picked us up for tubing which was a fun experience! We will definitely be staying at this home again!

Great location and views!

The design of the house provided great views of both the lake and the mountains. The screened-in porch, family room, and kitchen were very open. The decor was high quality and in great shape. The owner was very responsive to the glitch we had with the a/c. Great advice to bring life vests and flotation devices -- Lake Lure gets very deep fast. Great grocery store only a little over a mile away.

Great location on the lake

This was a great spot for our annual Thanksgiving gathering. Plenty of beds. There is only one bathroom in the main living area, though. So if you plan to have people sleep in the loft, just know they will have to walk down the stairs at night for a bathroom. There is also another full bath in the basement.

Great family vacation!

This house was a great rental! I stayed with three small children and it was great. Kids jumped off dock and played in the small ‘beach’ area. We also took the canoe out. The house had everything you would need in the kitchen and bath to be very comfortable. The supermarket close by is very large and has everything you would need for a wonderful stay. We would rent this same house again if we could! We used lake lure adventure company to go tubing and rent extra life jackets. It was a wonderful lake vacation.

Great for families

What a wonderful week of lake fun! Our kids are 4, 8 & 11 and the property was perfect for us. Directly on the lake, but tucked into a cul-de-sac. The kids were able to jump off the dock and swim right in front of the property without being disturbed by ski boats. Property provided a canoe and 2 adult life jackets, but I would suggest bringing kid life jackets because the water in front of the dock is deep. The home was beautiful and clean, with plenty of towels, cooking utensils and even Mrs. Myers soaps, that made it feel like home. Paula, the manager gave us many options for other activities around the neighborhood. We used Lake Lure Adventures for our boating activities, Canopy Ridge Zip, and Green River Adventures for our week's excursions. The home was conveniently located to all of these things and very close to grocery, Lake Lure Beach, restaurants, etc. In all it was a wonderful experience :).

Fantastic vacation with the kids

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. We have two toddlers and we could block them in on the first floor with the huge screened in poarch and relax! (brought a couple baby gates) Easy to find and short drive to the downtown area with putt putt/restaurants/hiking/etc. Awesome mointain view’s. It is a good number of steps down to the lake so just bring what you need for the session. It wasn’t an issue for us at all, even with the kids. Would definitely recommend!
