Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
This place is fantastic! Everything you could possibly need in a rental property. Nice, quiet location just north of town. Super clean place and everything was comfy...from the beds to the couch's. We spent one entire day of our trip, just relaxing on the couch with the windows open, watching the world go by inbetween naps :) Well apointed kitchen should you want to cook instead of dining out every meal. Only issue (which really wasn't much) was becareful of the garage entry door...if it's locked on the inside of the house, you can enter the garage but it stays locked and will lock behind you! LOL I will most definitely be renting again in the future and HIGHLY recommend this stay.
The house was very open and spacious and had all the dishes and silverware that you would need for cooking or cleaning. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. This was definitely the type of place that you would like to come back to after a day of skiing, snowboarding, or spending time in town.
We took this house because it had the right amount of space. It was our son's wedding and we were taking care of our granddaughter for part of the week. The space was adequate and nicely furnished. The problem was that the pans and pots were dirty and needed scrubbing prior to use. The coffee pot leaked (a minor annoyance). The vacuum needed repair (my husband fixed that). The worst part was first I noticed mouse droppings in the silverware drawer. Second, we saw a mouse scurry across the kitchen floor. Third, we came back one day to find a mouse in our bath tub. My husband promptly grabbed a pot & cover from the kitchen and caught the mouse. He released out onto the golf green. We complained to the management. After two calls, they sent someone to clean. S/he only did the counter tops not the drawers with mouse droppings or the dirty pots, pans and bake ware. I complained again. They finally sent someone to thoroughly clean. By that time it was 8 days into the 10 days we were there. I have received a small credit for our inconvenience and have requested that Vacasa, the lodging company reassess this amount but have not heard back from them. I have been renting HomeAway properties for years and have never given such a poor review. I usually get what I expect whether a cabin or a luxury property. I have never encountered dirt, mice and a slow response from the owner/rental agent. Find another place. I will update this review if I hear back from Vacasa
Lovely home with everything you need for a short or extended stay. It's a beautiful location right on the golf course. We saw a doe and her twins one afternoon. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in Durango to visit family and this was a perfect place for our family to stay while we were here. We would definitely stay here again!
