This unique Alameda Victorian apartment is just 7 minutes walk to Park St. with over 40 different restaurants. Park St. is the center of entertainment and dinning. It runs from the Park St. bridge at the north side of the Island to Crown Beach to the south end and the South Shore shopping Center. The apt. is just 1 & 1/2 blocks to Park St. and 3 blocks to the South Shore Shopping center and the breach; 10 minutes to Oakland Airport, 25 minutes to San Francisco and 15 minutes taking the Oakland/Alameda Ferry to downtown San Francisco financial district and Fisherman's wharf.

This Victorian apartment is clean, totally remodeled on the inside with granite countertops, new bathrooms with new tub and shower; while keeping its historic architecture and charm. Its also easy access to BART (the train) and the financial district. You will enjoy staying here.

The apartment is large, 1250 sq. ft. It has 2 large bedrooms and 1 small bedroom. The large bedrooms has queen size bed and the small bedroom has 2 twin size beds.. It has 1 full bath with shower and a half bath with just toilet and sink. The apartment has a 1895 chimney, a gas fireplace, seven gables all around with windows, redwood ceiling, a private deck with views that look towards the beach 4 blocks away, air condition, private parking. It offers complete privacy to anyone who stays here. It is in the Gold Coast neighborhood of the city which is a very safe and quiet area. The neighborhood has many old Victorians buildings built in the eighteen hundreds ( 1800's) and preserved by the City of Alameda. It has new gas stove, microwave oven.. Its easy access to the 880 freeway to Berkeley and San Francisco.

This Alameda CA 3 bedroom 1 & 1/2 bath apartment has been totally remodeled into an upscale apartment. Its private redwood deck has outdoor table and chairs and a view.

The large living room has a real redwood ceiling with light, brick chimney and a white gas fireplace standing on black marble tiles. A comfortable sofa, coffee table and side table. It has an air conditioner unit for the few days in summer when you may need it. This unique living room has 2 large windows which looks out to the redwood deck, the view of the trees and down to the beach 3 blocks away. It also has a 46' HDTV with a wireless internet router which gives wireless connectivity for your computers throughout all the rooms in the apartment.

The kitchen has new kitchen cabinets installed. It is fully equipped for cooking. All stainless steel appliances with dishwasher, microwave oven, gas stove/oven, refrigerator/ice. All utensils, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, coffee cups, coffee maker, toaster and everything you would need.

The master bedroom has 1 queen size bed, dresser and night stand. It also has a 46' HDTV attached to the wall with a mounting bracket so that you can move it around. Large closet and a small reading room, an office desk and chair for the business executive. The second bedroom also has a queen size bed and large closet.The extra small room can be used as an office or extra sleeping area. It has 2 twin size beds. All the mattresses are comfort mattresses; Beautyrest with pillow top comfort to provide a good night sleep.

The private deck is made of solid redwood and has a large redwood table where you can sit and eat while enjoying the view. There is a large avacado tree hanging near the deck with lots of avacados. The deck is private and is fenced around to provide the privacy you need. Many guest spend time having dinner on the deck when the weather is beautiful.

The bathrooms are totally remodeled. Bathroom #1 is a full bath with tub and shower. and new sink. The floor is white marble tile. Bathroom #2 is a 1/2 bath with a new toilet and sink and cherry vanity. Both bathrooms are stock with towels, toiletries, soap, shampoos, hair conditioner and a hair dryer.

There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in the laundry room downstairs in the building.

The apartment is just 2 blocks to Alameda's historic Park Street which has around 40 different kind of restaurants, shops, museum, a movie multiplex, fresh produce market and live threatre. Grocery stores like Safeway, Nob Hill foods and Trader Joe's, 7 local winery tasting rooms at the former Alameda Naval Air station.

San Francisco is just 20 miniutes drive away over the Bay Bridge or via BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and the Alameda/Oakland ferry to San Francisco.

This unique apartment is ideal for the business executive, professional, Corporate housing and family.

Wonderful owners/rental

My family and I have been using VRBO for many years now. Im not sure I have ever had a better host/owner. The unit was perfect for the 5 of us. The 3 teenage boys had 2 rooms and my husband and I had our own. The unit was spacious with all the amenities. The private deck and parking spot were so nice. The teenagers loved sitting on the deck in the evening. Monica and Gordon have made sure you have everything you need. They were there when we arrived to show us around and answer any questions. Alameda Island is a great place to stay, and the unit is blocks from the beach and Park St. which has many great restaurants and shops. The boys were able to walk around and go do their own thing while my husband and I did ours. We felt very safe and loved driving/walking around the area looking at the old homes/Victorians. We would definitely come back to the area and to rent from Monica and Gordon!!

P.S. the 1/2 half bath was such a nice extra

Terrific apartment, quiet, great location

This apartment was perfect for my family of five. The bedrooms and living room are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well appointed and beautifully redone. Most important is the fact that the location is quiet, even though it is just a couple of blocks away from Park St. and the center of town. A parking spot made our stay even more convenient. Monica told us that she believes in giving her guests privacy, which was great. She was available when we needed to contact her. The only very slight minus is that it is the top floor, so 2 flights of stairs with luggage might be a problem for some; it wasn’t for us.

Fully furnished, clean, spacious, convenient and reasonably priced!

This three bedroom apt is one the top floor. It sleeps six. Our family stayed there for three days. We enjoyed the stay verely much and will consider it next time we visit the area. The owner was very courteous and too care of every details. The location is convenient to shopping, beach and airport.
