The perfect house for a family getaway or group trip. This house is newly remodeled from the ground up, sparing no expense. Enjoy the lap of luxury while being merely steps to the boardwalk, beach, bay and Pacific Ocean. This South Mission gem is two rentals in one that are being offered as a package deal. The front unit features 3 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, laundry room, an entertainers open concept kitchen/living room combo, a wine bar, 4 flat screen TVs, two car garage, and a spacious courtyard with built in barbecue and fire pit. The rear unit features 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, washer, dryer, open concept kitchen/ living room combo, three flat screen TVs, two exterior parking spots, and a small deck with propane bbq and bistro table. I have just acquired this property but I am no stranger to quality guest services. Please see my other listings for additional accommodation options.

Beautiful house with plenty of room for our family of ten to gather or separate. The garage is stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, toys, and umbrellas. The patio is quiet and comfortable. Kevin is quick to respond. We would definitely recommend !

Excellent time with friends!

We loved our stay! We had 5 couples who enjoyed the patio, beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, bocce ball, etc), well appointed kitchen and close walk to the beach and bay. We can’t wait for our next trip!

School Friends Reunion

Much enjoyed our stay at the Ritzy Beachcomber. The place was spacious and well-appointed, very close to bay and ocean beaches. Owner was responsive and helpful when we had questions. Definitely would book again for a San Diego stay.

Thanksgiving

We had 10 people stay (both units) for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful. The weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy the giant patio and have dinner outside. All in all a great property, close to everything and parking for four cars.

Spectacular

The rental property was sooo nice and perfectly located next to the ocean and even closer to the bay. My family was completely comfortable with our rooms and there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy each other as well as some time to ourselves. The amount of amenities for any beach activity provided was also very appreciated. Our family will surely be back to this property and I highly recommend.

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property over the summer and have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The house is spacious and clean with plenty of room and plenty of sleeping quarters for everybody to stay. I enjoy the bay side as it’s much quieter than the ocean side. Also a huge help for us is the provided beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, etc. As we travel from Arizona to visit and save a ton of room, not having to bring that equipment. The few times that I have had to reach out to the property contact. He has been extremely helpful and responsive immediatel. Highly recommend this place.

3 Generation Family Getaway

A perfect place for an entire family to get together. Ages 73-4. Everything needed was just a short walk away. Kevin is a great communicator and available for questions. If we were to go back to San Diego, this would be our choice again.

Absolutely Perfect

Kevin’s property is the perfect place for a big family vacation or a friends retreat. There is plenty of room in the bottom and top units and the fun times you have on the patio will keep you coming back for more. Kevin was an outstanding communicator and made special accommodations to fit our travel schedules. We will be back for sure! Thank you Kevin!

Family Get-together.

Will definitely try to stay here again if we are doing another get-together. Two families of 4 adults with plenty of space for entertaining, cooking, spending time together, or apart. The patio is wonderful. The kitchen had everything we were looking for for cooking for a crowd. The parking was excellent (have been stung by the definition of a parking space in Mission Beach before.) Location is great for beach and bay (of course) but also for the dining etc at Belmont Park. A great time.

Boat & Beach

Particularly liked the large table outside, and the long, well-equipped kitchen. Smaller of two properties would have fit our needs better with twin beds in one of the bedrooms, rather than a double (queen) . Unfortunately, a lot of construction taking place in the alley. Excellent location for our outing as it was convenient to both the beachfront and the bay, where the boat was moored and evening fireworks could be observed. Garage was a bit tight for two rental cars, but doable. Overall, an excellent choice. Thanks.

Holiday stay

We rented the up and down unit over the holidays with our extended families. We had enough beds and bathrooms for our group of 8. Air mattresses were available if needed. Loved being able to walk to bay or beach easily. Only complaints about the upper unit is the queen size bed was very creaky. We could hear every time a person sat down and got up from the other room. Would have been nice to have laundry soap and dish soap upstairs instead of having to run down to lower unit to bring it up when needed. Beach toys were nice. We didn’t use the bikes as they seemed older and rusty. Patio was great and loved being able to wash the sand away with hose. Fire pit was enjoyable too.

Great Property - Will Stay Again

We had a great time at this property! The owner was amazing. His cleaning crew didn't show up, but he was there cleaning and got everything done quickly; and I helped do some cleaning - he refunded the first day and the cleaning fee because they didn't show up. It's an ideal place. It's so beautiful and fun! The house has everything from kitchen necessities to stuff for the beach - boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, heat lamps for outside, a firepit and a grill. The patio has a long table that can hold many people. The communication was great, the house was spacious and luxurious! The master bath in the first unit was very big and very comfortable. The beach and bay were both walking distance, and so was the restaurants. I recommend both Capri and Sara's Mexican for breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices. Google Maps did have a little trouble with the directions. The best way to go is from Mission Drive, take a left onto Capistrano and then a left (it's a one way street) onto Bayside Lane. Don't get it confused with Bayside Walk. This will take you to the "back" of the house where there is a garage and another parking space beside it. The actual front of the house is on Cohasset which is just a walk, not a road. I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in San Diego.
