About the host
Hosted by Patty Reidenbach
Recently retired L&D RN. Born in San Francisco and raised in Berkeley (next door to this location). Two sets of my great-great-grandparents came in the gold rush, and I help preserve my great-parents house, which is an Oakland landmark.
Why they chose this property
Berkeley combines a world-class university, a lively history of social change, great beauty, a temperate climate, restaurants of every kind and and a wide selection of cultural events. It spoiled me for living anywhere else ( though I did try).
What makes this property unique
I built this cottage with myself in mind, and I plan to live there when I'm older. I made sure it felt spacious despite its small size, and had lots of interesting details.
