Beautiful Mountain Escape In Snowcreek V - 2BR/2 Bath Sleeps 6

Our property is located in Snowcreek phase V nestled in beautifully landscaped surroundings where you'll find plenty of open space and tranquility. The unit has a master bedroom with King sized bed and full private bathroom. The second bedroom has a twin over queen log bunk bed and bathroom with shower. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room bringing the total sleep occupancy to 6. The kitchen is fully equipped with recently upgraded range and refrigerator. The porch sits in front of a grass lawn surrounded by aspen and pine trees; the perfect place for reading a book or barbequeing your fresh catch on the grill.

Our remodeled unit has the rustic touches of a mountain getaway blended with modern amenities. You'll find newly installed wood flooring, rustic furniture and decor, as well as a fully connected unit with high speed internet, internet TV, flat screen smart TVs, and blue ray players.
We are pleased to offer a pet friendly home so you can bring your furry family member. Pet fee is $175 per dog. Max two dog limit.

The Condo is close to many attractions and activities. The Snowcreek golf course and community jacuzzi are just steps away. A short walk to the South will bring you trail access to the meadow, as well as the Sherwin Mountains and Mammoth rock. The trails here are perfect for a summer hike through fields of wildflowers, or for snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter. Deer and other wildlife frequent this area, and sightings are common.

Another short walk to the north will bring you to trout filled Mammoth Creek and Mammoth Creek Park. Just beyond that you'll find yourself in the middle of town.

The beautiful Lakes Basin area is a short 10 minute drive away. Here, you will find many other recreational activities including fishing, boating, paddle boarding, swimming, horse back riding, and biking. The paved Lakes Basin Trail starts in town and ends at the top of the Lakes Basin at Horseshoe Lake. Countless miles of hiking and mountain biking trails into the back country can also be accessed here.

In the winter Mammoth is known for its world class skiing and snowboarding. To access the slopes, Eagle and Canyon lodges and the Village are a short 5 minutes drive away. Main Lodge is only about a 15 minute drive away.

We have been to Mammoth many times and usually stay in a hotel. We chose to try out a VRBO this time and we are so glad we did. This VRBO is in an incredible location. Close enough to take off on our bikes or to drive for some lake fun. It’s got a great feeling of home and we were all comfortable here including our dog. It is SUPER quiet and has just beautiful surroundings. We would love to stay here again some time.

Fantastic place to stay with dogs. The condo is modern and nicely decorated, a comfortable and convenient place to stay. We were really happy to bring our dogs with us and walk them around the area, where there were plenty of other pups being walked. The owners are super responsive and professional. My husband, our daughter and her boyfriend and their Corgi totally enjoyed this condo. Everything was clean and in great shape. Was very convenient as there weren’t any stairs or elevators to hassle with, so they could just take the dog out and take him for a walk. Loved the layout- it was nice and roomy. The upstairs neighbors are two quiet non partying men who work and have 3 happy dogs.Their dogs bark when they see your dog…the only noise I heard staying under their condo was dogs running around when their owners came home from work. I would choose them over vacation renters any day…they were very respectful and nice. The photos show a dripcoffee machine. The coffee machine is now a Keurig- so plan accordingly!Bed and all furniture were clean and comfortable.

Lovely property!!! So cozy and spacious. Would book again and bring an air mattress because the pullout couch is not sleepable. It’s more of a mattress pad/topper. That was the only disappointing part.

We used Micaela and John's place as our home-base for a few days of hiking and fishing during the July 4th week. They have clearly taken great care and thought as hosts, which was readily apparent upon arrival. Their condo is well maintained, comfortable and has all of the vacation necessities (and then some). It is close (but not too close) to downtown, the lakes basin and the mountain (and walkable to the creek). Snowcreek is easily one of our favorite Mammoth developments and Micaela and John's hospitality is icing on the cake.

Cozy, comfortable, attractive condo, perfect for our family of four. Location was ideal because kids had plenty of open space to play in the snow, and it was a quick drive to the mountain to to great restaurants. Kitchen was very well-stocked. Nice to have pillow options in the bedrooms. My one, very minor, complaint was that the board game selection could use a refresh.

Fabulous Very White Thanksgiving

Perfect floor plan with bedroom privacy, the place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked - we cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner. The location is great in the old town area of Mammoth. We had so much snow we dug the car out at least 4 times daily. We weren't able to ski - very low visibility and high winds. But it was beautiful! We enjoyed the fire place and the beautiful view. Thank you so much!

Lovely Stay in Snowcreek V

Micaela and John's condo in Snowcreek was perfect for our visit to Mammoth with friends to attend Bluesapalooza. Great layout for two couples - separate bedrooms and baths on opposite sides of the condo - and a nice open shared space with kitchen, living and dining area. Updated appliances, nice laundry room/pantry, deck outside with a pretty view of the neighborhood and nearby Sherwin mountains. Quiet, clean and everything we needed to enjoy our stay!

Quick Response from Owners Overcomes Bad First Impression

We arrived at the condo with dirty sheets, kitchen, bathroom, etc. My wife wanted to leave immediately. Fortunately, the owners were quick to respond and had the cleaning people there immediately. There was a new management company and "somebody dropped the ball" on cleaning. I give the owners credit for quickly fixing the problem, being responsive and even following up via text on a holiday weekend to make sure all was well. They also compensated us for the first night, which was the right thing to do. While not the ideal first impression, the owners were great and that is why I would say 4 stars overall. I would rent again from them based on how quickly they responded. The condo was decent and overall we enjoyed our stay.

This cabin was perfect for our winter stay with family. Fully stocked and even had fun snow toys. Interior is a little dated but did not hinder our stay and everything was clean. I would bring your own pillow. Communication with the host was excellent, even when I was annoying with lots of back and forth questions. All in all we would stay again.

Unforgettable memories of fishing, hiking, camping, and skiing in our youth have instilled a great love of nature which we now have the joy of sharing with our children. Our vacation home in Mammoth has been the perfect place for our family to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life, and has allowed us to soak in the revitalizing energy of the great outdoors. Our beloved German shepherd Maggie loved coming here as well. I can still picture her sheer joy as she would bound through the deep snow in the meadow, not a care in the world. That memory epitomizes the spirit that our mountain home provides.

Each season offers it's own unique beauty, from the brilliant colors of the aspen leaves in fall, to the wildflowers of spring and summer, and the glistening whites of winter. Whether skiing, snowboarding, sledding, or snowshoeing in winter, or hiking, fishing, bicycling, canoeing, paddleboarding, swimming or horseback riding in the summer, spring, and fall, there is always a fun adventure to be had, and always something new to try.

What makes this property unique

Our Condo is in Snowcreek phase V which is a community like no other in Mammoth. Its location is off the beaten path in the middle of a beautiful meadow at the foothills of the Sherwin sub-mountain range. There is no through traffic to deal with making the community very quiet and safe. We feel very comfortable having our young children play in front of the condo and ride their bikes on the neighborhood streets.
