That View is just incredible

The Perfect Family Holiday House

We had the best week at this incredible property. It felt like staying at a friend's house with thoughtful touches everywhere and the most breathtaking view imaginable. Perfect for watching whales! A short downhill walk to either Cylinder or Deadman's beaches and a few minutes further to the local Foodworks. The huge lower level with 3 sets of bunks is perfect for kids with a pool table and 2 pianos (no bathroom). The middle level has access to the garage and 3 bedrooms all with sea views with a separate bathroom (shower over bath) and separate toilet. And finally the upper level has a huge, exceptionally well equipped kitchen with dining table to fit at least 12 and enormous outside deck and barbecue area. We practically lived on this deck and all it's comfortable seating options. There is also a toilet on this level. This level has the massive master bedroom with ensuite and double headed shower. The lift was perfect for my 98-year old grandmother and there was enough space so that the 10 of us could find our own space or come together when we needed. We holiday together every year and we all unanimously voted this house the best place we have stayed. Thanks to the kind and friendly hosts for their excellent communication and the thoughtful provisions. We can't wait to return!

Paradise

Our family (ranging in age from 10 to 82) absolutely loved our time in this home and on Straddie ! Immaculate home with everything you could want including a lift for my elderly parents and even a Christmas tree! The views are breathtaking , layout perfect for a couple of families. Ground floor games/bunk room was perfect for kids/teens. Close (10min walk) to beach, pub and local grocery store. Owner (Catherine) was a delight to deal with. Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you Catherine & family for providing a beautiful experience.
