Cabin, 2-3 Bedrooms + 2-3 Baths, Sleeps 2-8 (Read full description)
My name is Craig Levine and I am a realtor who has seen tons of homes over my 20 year career. Having seen so many homes, I had a good idea of how to turn BearItAll into a wonderful vacation home with all of the amenities that I would want at my primary residence without all of the commotion.
Craig purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Craig chose Blairsville
I chose this Blairsville location because it is central to so many activities in the mountains. From hiking the Appalachian Trail (10 minutes away) to boating and fishing on 3 major lakes (30 minutes away) to having drinks in the Bavarian town of Helen (25 minutes away), BearItAll is conveniently located, yet, in the midst of the Chattahoochee National Forest.
What makes this Cabin unique
I love to hike and am always hitting the plethora of wonderful trails within 20 minutes of the cabin. I also have a motorcycle and love to get out on the scenic roadways in the vicinity. The main reason I come up here is to enjoy some rest and relaxation. The BearItAll cabin has been designed with an escape in mind.

Really enjoyed our stay
Glad you enjoyed the stay, Dana!
Look a little longer for something better.
Over the meadow and through the woods was an under statement. 45 minutes to get to anywhere. 1 lane up that turns into gravel.( do not meet another car!). Upon arrival we didn't know if we were in the right place due to it looking abandoned. Not one light on and the yard was badly unkempt. Need flashlight to get in the door. Entering the cabin. We came into a 50° COLD cabin. It was raining and 34° outside. Turned on heat. Tried to light fireplace. Never could get it lit. Furniture and bedding smelled musky. Towels were all different colors(old) smelled musky and were as thin as paper and the size of a baby towel. 2 bathrooms. But DONOT try to let 2 people shower at one time. No water pressure. Do not try to pull up any window shades to see out. It will fall on your head! Thick dust every where. We did not get in until about 1130 at night. Stayed the next night until I could get us another place. We checked out a day early. Owner was nice walked us through lighting the fireplace but never would light. NEEDS SOME MAJOR UPDATES AND A GOOD CLEANING!
Well, what can I say....once in a blue moon, you'll get a tenant like this that you have a feeling you should never have rented to. First off, she gets in at 11:30pm and expects the cabin to be warm and toasty...sorry, if we kept the heat on 365 days a year, we'd need to charge people a lot more. Second, she immediately complained about the cabin being "too high in elevation". Apparently, she had a condition that results in ringing of the ears and vertigo. Well, I'm sorry, Blairsville's elevation is in the mountains so, yes, you are going to be at a higher elevation than in Alabama. Maybe you should research where you're going to be vacationing next time...
Next, saying it takes 45 minutes to get anywhere is a complete lie. We are 15 minutes to the town of Blairsville and there are numerous restaurants and convenient marts within 10 minutes. Also, the fireplace lights fine but you need to prime it for a few minutes if it hasn't been used in a few days, especially when it is cold outside.....
You can see where this review is going. This lady was just going to complain about everything so I take her review with a grain of salt and hope that you will, too....Check out our other recent reviews and you'll see she has no merit and is just a whiner.
Bear It All is an amazing cabin! We throughly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. No hiccups, no fuss, just a great experience. We enjoyed the seclusion and even got to see the stars in all their splendor (something we dont get in the city). Communications with Craig were great! Definitely made some cherished memories!
A beautiful property nestled in serenity, cozy, and perfect!
A beautiful property nestled in serenity. We felt at home as the cabin was cozy and comfortable, clean and inviting. We will definitely keep this in mind for future mountain visits.
So glad you and your group had a great time and thought the cabin was comfortable, clean and inviting! We hope to have you back again, soon!
Nice stay and great location
Beautiful cabin. Enjoyed our stay.
This cabin is excellent for a large group or family. It’s very clean inside and maintained well. The exterior of the cabin and the grounds need some maintenance right now, but this was not a deal breaker. The hot tub is great for relaxing, but we did not realize there is a 10:00 pm curfew until we got there, so keep that in mind when planning your trip. I would also suggest the TVs in bedrooms and the back porch need to be upgraded. Overall, it was a great cabin, and I would consider booking again. Everything in the description was accurate except for the exterior at this time.
Thanks so much for your 5 star review! There isn't really a curfew but the neighbors like us to keep the outside patio/screened porch noise down after 10pm. We are in the process of getting some landscaping done, as well. Hope to have you back again, soon!
