INSIDE SNOWATER NOOK

After a day of skiing, hiking or exploring the Mt. Baker area, settle into the living room and warm up beside the wood burning fireplace. The stone hearth and surrounding forest create the kind of cozy mountain atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and stay awhile.

The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing breakfast before the trails, packing a ski day lunch or sharing a relaxed dinner at home. A washer and dryer are also available inside the condo, making longer stays and wet weather adventures a little easier.

SLEEPING LAYOUT

The condo accommodates a maximum of two guests.

Bedroom:

• One queen bed

The private bedroom offers a comfortable place to recharge after a full day outside. The home has one full bathroom.

OUTDOOR SETTING

Step outside into a peaceful landscape of towering evergreens, forest paths and the sounds of the nearby Nooksack River. A trail begins near the condo and leads through the community toward the riverfront and surrounding forest.

The corner location offers a quieter, more tucked-away setting than many traditional resort stays. During warmer months, the surrounding trees also help keep the condo naturally shaded and comfortable.

SNOWATER AMENITIES

Guests receive access to Snowater Resort’s shared recreational amenities, including:

• Two heated indoor swimming pools

• Hot tubs

• Cedar sauna

• Fitness room

• Billiards and ping pong

• Squash and racquetball courts

• Seasonal tennis and basketball courts

• Children’s playroom and playground

• Outdoor gathering and grilling areas

• Walking paths and more than 1,000 feet of Nooksack River frontage

Whether you spend the day on the mountain or never leave the resort, there are plenty of ways to move, relax and reconnect.

GOOD TO KNOW

Although the condo itself is located on the ground floor, the route from the parking area includes a short walk along a lighted gravel path and several steps. The property is not step free.

One starter bundle of firewood is provided. Additional firewood may be purchased from the Snowater office during operating hours.

This home is not pet friendly.

Snowater Nook offers a simple combination that is increasingly difficult to find: a quiet place for two, a real fire at the end of the day and the forest waiting just outside.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to the whole condo and Snowater Resort's sounds and amenities.

After a full day of skiing or exploring the trails, unwind with a soak in the hot tub or take a dip in one of the two heated indoor pools. Guests can also enjoy the resort’s tennis courts, pool table, sauna, fitness center, squash courts, adult lounge, outdoor BBQ areas, and nearby walking paths. For more information, stop by the front desk.

The Neighborhood:

Snowater Resort is a peaceful 20 acre mountain community tucked between the Nooksack River and Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. Surrounded by towering evergreens and more than 1,000 feet of riverfront, it offers a quiet setting with trails, bridge crossings and forest paths to explore.

Guests have access to two clubhouses with heated indoor pools, hot tubs, a cedar sauna, fitness facilities, game rooms and a variety of indoor and seasonal outdoor sports courts. Outdoor gathering areas, playgrounds, charcoal grills and riverfront picnic spots make it easy to enjoy the community without leaving the resort.

Snowater is conveniently located for exploring Glacier, Mt. Baker and the surrounding national forest. Spend the day skiing, snowboarding, hiking, fishing or sightseeing, then return to a peaceful community where the river and forest set the pace.

INTERNET & CELL SERVICE

Snowater condos currently use DSL internet, which generally ranges from approximately 1 to 5 Mbps. It is usually sufficient for basic browsing and email but may not support demanding remote work, multiple devices or consistent video conferencing.

Both Snowater clubhouses offer higher speed Starlink internet. Cell service can be limited throughout Glacier and the surrounding mountain communities, depending on the carrier.

The property was beautiful! Lots to do at the rental property including basketball and hiking! We loved our stay and the surrounding nature! The rental had games and books to use which was wonderful! My partner read all of the Treasure Island book provided while we relaxed and soaked up the beauty of this place! Hope to stay again sometime in the future!

Great stay!

This was the perfect location for a winter trip. We were snowboarding at Mt. Baker and it was the closest lodging to the mountain! The community hot tub was nice to use as well as the wood burning fire in the unit.

Cozy little condo

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Snowater, the grounds are beautiful right next to the river, and proximity to beautiful Mt. Baker is perfect. The condo itself is small but has everything. The kitchen is a little weathered and decor a bit tired, but the view of greenery from the living room window is lovely.

Cozy and comfortable

The condo is as advertised. We had a little glitch at the outset because we couldn't get onto wifi. Since had no cell service, we had to drive back to the office (about a mile or two) to get the password which had changed -- and also to get the wood that had been promised for the fireplace. After that everything was completely fine -- and they even gave us two bundles of wood to make up. I would give it 4.75 stars if I could.

The location was great. The room is pretty run down, but clean. There’s lots to do and we loved sitting by the river. We were glad we brought beach chairs. Not all the lights worked so the unit was dark. We were thankful to be on the end so we had some natural light from the window seat. The floors and bed were creaky. Really loud listening to the people walk around above us. When we got there the garbage was full so we had to take care of that ourselves. The WiFi didn’t work. There were lots of racquet sports available but there were no balls or they were so beat up they didn’t work. We would come again because the location was so great! It has a ton of potential! Absolutely loved the river and being close to great hiking.

We did not enjoy our stay at Luxury Getaways. We were at Snowater condo 307. 1) Did not enjoy seeing the mouse trap on the floor in the living room 2) Furthermore, did not like seeing the mouse running around the living room 3) Looked under the mattress on the corner and saw a dried blood stain on the spring frame cover 4) Relaxed on the leather couch using the couch pillows. Withing minutes started scratching my skin and head scalp. My partner complained about the same with the other couch pillow. 5) Of the 2 coffee mugs, one was chipped pretty noticeably 6) I can't recommend anyone else staying in that condo, unless they don't mind the distractions. 7) Bed mattress was comfortable

Beautiful location but a worn out condo

The condo is old and worn out but the facilities of the complex seemed great for families. It’s outside a very small town, heavily forest, near Mt. Baker.

Beautiful cabin in winter wonderland

We had a wonderful stay at the Snowater Nook. The cabin is beautiful and perfect for a couple. The cabin was very clean and tidy, and the woods surrounding the area were beautiful to walk around. We stayed here to enjoy skiing up at Mt. Baker, and the location was perfect.

Tired Property

We have stayed in Snow Water before in nicer units than this one. Toilet leaked. Very minimal silverware and dishes and glasses. For example, two table knives, two wine glasses. Dishwasher had a missing wheel in the lower tray which interfered with opening and closing the dishwasher. Ran out of hand soap in the bathroom sink. No pillow cases for the extra pillows in the closet. Cobwebs around the front door.

Basic but good

Really enjoyed our stay. Great location with a good energy & we really enjoyed our surroundings. (Nature -river, Forrest, remoteness, etc) It was close to the Ski hill which is what we wanted. The 4 star out of 5 was because of a bunch of little things. TV remote didnt have batteries in it, new shower curtain, towel holders that work, older appliance, suite could use a good cleaning & freshening up. Still worth the stay.
