Each window is 110' in living room, T.V. room and master bedroom. Each bedroom is extended. Beautiful view from Master bedroom. Accommodates 4. King in Master bedroom, 2 Full beds in guest bedroom.

Retired couple stayed one week.

Condo was clean, kitchen had everything that’s needed, lots of different areas to sit reading or watching tv, primary bedroom bed comfortable.

The ocean view from #203 was Devine!! Gorgeous sunsets! Enjoyed the beautiful ocean view on the balcony morning noon and night! Lovely get away spot!!

Beautiful Ocean Front Condo

Perfect location with fabulous views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sand Cay is in a great location on Longboat Key and this unit has awesome views of the beach. There are even beach views from the kitchen and the master bedroom. We used the heated pool and cooked on the outdoor grill one night. We walked to the hotel 2 properties away for a very nice poolside lunch one day.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 203 is a large property in an excellent position overlooking the gulf.Unfortunately the furniture and furnishings are a little outdated and kitchen utensil stock is inadequate e.g. No teaspoons.

Trip with my girls

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always it was pleasant as well as lots of fun. We really love the place, we have been coming for 7 years. Again this year unable to get tv working. Every time the tv was on it would go on and off of internet service very frustrating also on my tablet. The other downside was seeing that black snake on the walkway. I know most people don’t mind but it really rattled me. Sarah was very kind to me so i would relax, she is very special. Looking foward to next year’s trip with my two girls🥰

Reviewer Comments: The condo location was perfect until you walked into the kitchen.Didn’t smell fresh like someone just cleaned the unit.The kitchen utensils a disaster, the master king mattress , aweful !!!!Furniture the most uncomfortable.When you rent a unit and paying a lot of money, you want all the comforts of home.Will highly recommend a total makeover.

Amazing Getaway at a Beautiful Beach Sept 2023

The condo view was amazing! The location is perfect for a quick walk (few steps) down to the beach. This unit was at the end of the building, beach front with the pool at the other end. The beach was quiet and peaceful. There were few people, even with the neighboring resorts, which made it perfect for our stay. The sitting area furniture, near the balcony door, doesn't match the photos (wicker) and the sofa in the living area was peeling in spots along the bottom and top. The outside is very dark at night, no bright lights due to turtle nesting, so we didn't sit outside after sunset. If you like higher elevation to sleep, bring a few extra pillows for the master suite. One suggestion to the resort is to add a few paddle boards, kayaks and a couple of bikes to rent for the guests. Otherwise, our vacation was perfect! I highly recommend Sand Cay Beach Resort for those seeking a nice, relaxing, quiet sanctuary right on the beach that is still close to shopping, resteraunts and lively entertainment. The resort staff were friendly and helpful.

Not pleased with unit #203

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very dated. For 3K+ for a week rental I expected a much nicer unit. From the mismatched dishes, glasses, rusted stove & fridge to the electrical plugs being dangerously wired, internet not working & employee blaming us for using a plug to charge a cell phone which caused the internet not to work, plug should have been marked not to use but wasn’t. The living room furniture was lawn furniture, not comfortable at all, the other couch was so old the fake leather was pealing off, looked like something from the 80’s. Looked like owners use this space for all their old stuff, stuff they no longer want, very disappointing to say the least. We have vacationed at Sand Cay for over 30 yrs, worst room we’ve ever stayed in. Won’t stay in this unit again! Owners need a set a matching plates, glasses, plastic cups, a complete sets of silverware, not a bunch of mismatched forks & knives, a good set of knives & more than 4 spoons would have been nice! Very disappointing! View was great!

The fact that you have returned for over 30 years to Sand Cay, says it all! : ) All of our units here at Sand Cay are separately owned, and look entirely different inside. It is always helpful look at the pictures and virtual tours on our website before booking a unit, to ensure that the décor is of your liking, (Everyone has different taste when it comes to decorations etc...) We wish we could have made your stay more comfortable. Next time, if something isn’t up to par, reach out to us during your trip so we can address it ASAP. Our guest's comfort is key! We’re here any time to help you have the best stay possible. Sometimes if something gets unplugged, it will effect the wifi in the unit. There is never any blame, and we are very sorry if you took this personally. Here in the office, we are always trying to help troubleshoot the problem, especially if it's something that could be a quick fix. : ) We are in the process of doing inventory in every unit to ensure that all of our units have what they need as far as dishes, silverware etc... Thank you so much for bringing the the loose outlet to our attention so that we could resolve the issue, we appreciate it! Longboat Family Vaca

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Sand Cay. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The office staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The unit we stayed it was very well equipped with everything from cooking needs to beach needs. The dining room table was large enough for my entire family to eat at! However, the kitchen does need to be updated. The stove/ oven was rusty and the kitchen space itself is only big enough for 2 adults to be in at 1 time! Other than the kitchen issue , everything else was great! We will definitely be returning next year!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoy Sand Cay- it is a wonderful resort. Our unit was very clean (kudos to housekeeping) but not in the best shape this year, and considering the cost, it seemed it should have been better (203). The dining light did not work, the slider screen was broken, The lamps were old and dingy looking. Bathrooms were nice but the kitchen was minimally stocked for cooking (cheap pots and pans, very few glasses- dishes minimally ok) The icemaker was nice to have and the new dishwasher was great. The kitchen felt old and very outdated- not so nice to cook in. Both kitchen windows could not open (no crank), one window in living area also would not open. The furniture was ok but there was a general moisture smell to the condo. Maybe the AC filter needs regular replacement? In general ,a beautiful location but if a guest is charged this amount, the unit should be updated. Thank you for hosting us as guests!

Good time at Sand Cay

Beautiful Condo Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for a week in early July. Stayed in the same unit for the 4th time. We love the view from the balcony of the sunsets and gulf. We also went to our favorite restaurants on Longboat including the Blue Dolphin for breakfast, the Drydock , Harry’s and Euphemia Haye. Did you excursions to Mote Marine and Ringling Museums. Lots to do besides relaxing on the beautiful grounds of Sand Cay.
