Thank you so much! Was our pleasure having you as our guests. Nice we received some snow! Take care and hope to have you again soon.
Once again, we loved our stay at Shadowland River Lodge. We had a wonderfully snowy weekend made cozy by the fire reading and playing games while looking out at the beautiful river views and relaxing in the hot tub after cross country skiing nearby. Well appointed cabin with a private setting and so much charm! We’ll be back!
We had a great two day stay at the Shadowland River Lodge. We wished it was longer. The hosts, Jason and Nicole greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour with quick easy intructions of the property. They also gave us historical insight of the cottage which made us appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere even more. This is truly a relax and unwind cabin with amazing views both inside and outside. The owners have done an outstanding job with maintaining and cleanliness the property. The ammenities check off all of the boxes. This was exactly what we were looking for in a Northern Michigan getaway. Thanks again Jason and Nicole!
Everything was perfect. All the little touches make a huge difference. Hot tub was amazing. Whole experience was comfy and very cozy. The hosts Jason and Nicole were so helpful and nice to deal with. 10/10. My only advice would be to stay longer than 3 days because we didn’t want to leaveCan’t wait to stay again! Thanks for sharing your lovely cabin!

Thank you Christine! Was great having you! Let it snow!
The property and cabin were everything we wanted and expected, the host were great people and gave us lots of good information at the beginning of our stay! The cabin was stocked full with just about everything you would need. We highly recommend this as your next place to stay!
Our stay at Shadowland Lodge was perfect for our family and small dog. The lodge was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The running river beside the lodge was a favorite spot—especially for our dog who couldn’t get enough of it. Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Thank you Kelley! Always a pleasure! Have a great rest of the summer and hope to see you soon!
Shadowland River Lodge exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't quite capture how truly special the entire property is. We were reminded of our stay at the Lake Placid Lodge. The cabin, the fireplace, lodge decor and the orderliness of everything made for a wonderful week. Much gratitude to our wonderful hosts. You can tell they really care.
Shadowland River Lodge is a hidden gem. The cabin was so charming and cozy. Jason the host was so informative about the cabin and made our time there more enjoyable knowing a little bit about it's history. It exceeded our expectations!
Lovely stay again. It is so obvious how much pride Jason and Nicole have in sharing this remarkable cabin. Hot tub is a great addition and each year gets better and our trip gets longer. Cabin has all you can ask for and amenities you don’t expect, paper goods, soap, toiletries, trash bags, laundry detergent. They have it all covered. And…the river.. so peaceful and relaxing. You feel as though you’ve left it all behind. I’ve never seen my dog and husband so happy!
Hello Fellow Travelers. Unless you have like major issues or something you will Love this place. There is a calm and comfort here that's hard to find. Loaded with stuff. You only need to bring clothes and what you want to eat. There was popcorn and coffee too. And "all the wood you can burn". Be assured of that. Fun and lots of it. Even had educational things like Game of Thrones. I learned a lot when I was there. The Netflix channel is 302.

This is a beautiful property in a picturesque setting with every amenity your heart could possibly desire. Hosts were helpful and gracious. It was, in fact, such a wonderful overall experience, we're planning a second trip in the very near future with plans to come back next summer as well. Thank you, Jason and Nicole. It simply could not have been better! A
This was our second time staying at Shadowland Lodge, and it’s officially our favorite getaway spot! The cabin is beautiful, peaceful, and has everything you need to relax — tubing on the river, hot tub, fire pit, scenic walks, and plenty of space for games and family time.We especially love that we can bring our dog, who had just as much fun exploring as we did. The host provides so many thoughtful touches that make the cabin feel like home. Can’t wait to come back!
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Jason and Nicole are excellent hosts and the property is perfect for a weekend away (fires, puzzles, games). Highly recommend!

Why they chose this property
Shadowland River Lodge is a place to unwind from the hustle and bustle of the city life and by that, I'm even starting to consider Traverse City - "City Life." Leave the traffic and congestion behind and find yourself on 33 acres - to yourself.
