Across From The White Sand Of Moonlight Beach - Full Ocean/Beach View

Perfect for family reunions and get togethers! There are 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms which could be used by parents/grandparents and then 2 more queen bedrooms and a bunk room which all share 2 bathrooms. The floorpan is very family friendly and nice and open. Enjoy one of the nicest beaches in southern California just steps from the front doors, relax on the balcony and soak up a dramatic sunset all the while enjoying a rare private yard. This home has a large private garden in front which is unheard of so close to the beach. You truly get the best of both worlds being across from the beach, yet have rare privacy of beach homes.

This home was completely refinished in 2015. All the surfaces are new. The mattresses are all top of the line memory foam, encased and then fitted with luxurious linens. The home is professionally decorated with a clean, sleek beach theme.

Listen to the waves crash as the ocean lulls you to sleep at night. Watch your children play volleyball on the sand courts right from the comfort of your balcony or enjoy a family dinner in a private yard setting. This is one of the closest homes to Moonlight Beach and you can walk to the beach in a few seconds and enjoy white water views from every room upstairs and on the balcony.

Downtown Encinitas is just a short walk away with trendy shops, award winning restaurants and a small beach atmosphere with the perfect amount of night life. Hop on the Coaster train and head down to San Diego or up to Santa Barbara. There is really no need for a car, but the home has parking for 3-4 vehicles.

Moonlight Beach is a great locals beach with a typical southern California beach feel. There is a boardwalk, fire pits, beach snack bar, nice public restrooms, beach rentals and a newly constructed children's play park. It truly has something for everyone!

house showed some wear and tear issues and minor damage but everything functioned. Not enough reading lights in the bedrooms. it was clean and had sufficient towels. The 5th bathroom was essentially the laundry room and uncomfortably small. It would be a great house for families with small kids and worked well for us 10 adults. location was the best! Host responded quickly to our request for a room heater.

Wonderful stay start to finish! Fabulous views, plenty of space, short walk to the sand, well stocked with towels and toys!Host Rebecca was responsive to messages and allowed both late check-in and check out since there were no stays immediately before and after. We stayed in October and the days were sunny and warm and the nights cool. There was lots of room for everyone to gather and cook in the great open kitchen! (Could have used extra bar stools since we often gathered there.) Beds were comfy and linens were abundant, with extra towels for the beach. Floors at the beach often don’t quite feel clean, but the rest of the house was spotless. We notified Rebecca about a couple of small maintenance issues and she was happy to hear and planned to have them addressed. We would definitely stay at this house again!

Nice, large home right next to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Plenty of room for our large family, well-stocked kitchen, ample beach supplies, and Rebecca makes everything very easy. This is our second time staying here, and we are definitely planning on a third.

Amazing location and a ton of space for a big extended family. House was in mediocre condition, used pretty hard. Seemed not super clean and didn’t have some of the things you would hope for in a more expensive rental home, like full shampoos in the showers, batteries in the remotes, etc. But again, can’t beat the location and lots of sleeping areas. Overall great week!

We love the location, being that close to the beach is a real plus!

Fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and very cozy. The views are gorgeous. We enjoyed the little garden with roses and the fenced yard. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The parking lot is very big, we easily fit 4 cars on it. Wonderful stay!

We stayed 4 nights for my daughter's wedding which was very close to this house. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and the view of moonlight beach was fantastic from the living room. There is a lovely garden area as well with plenty of parking for 3 cars. The property manager was so easy to communicate with and we appreciated her prompt responses and assistance! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home!

Perfect home for an extended family vacation, from people aged 2-80. Ocean views, beautiful beach feet away, terrific playground, and town 2 blocks away. Most of us stayed local, but also an easy drive to San Diego. The host was very responsive, the home is new, warm and very comfortable. Definitely recommend.

We had 5 couples celebrating our 60th birthdays. The location is amazing. You can walk to everything. We enjoyed cooking in as well as going out. The house was definitely as advertised. Rebecca was a great host.

house could use some TLC

My family and I stayed at the white sand beach home for the weekend and felt it was slightly dirty. I don’t think the floors got cleaned and the bed linens could use a refresh. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs room with the small kitchen and in the middle of the night the front part of the bed mattress fell to the ground. After picking up the mattress we noticed that several slats were missing and the frame was not attached to the headboard as well as the center leg was bent. We did love the location of the house but it was not to our standards.

Moonlight beach treasure

Wonderful home for family gathering. Beautiful location with space for big group hangs and private conversations. Striking views of the beach and ocean which are just steps away from home. Cozy fenced green yard with blooming roses was an additional space for us too. This home is walking distance to downtown breweries, coffee shops, pizza and shopping. We had so much fun - highly recommend!
