Warm and friendly place
Diana and Juan are so very kind and generous in so many thoughtful ways, from the fresh fruit on the table when we got there, to having the apartment stocked with all the things we needed. We really enjoyed our stay with them and we hope to see them again in the future.
Super clean and super friendly!
Diana and Juan were very friendly and welcoming. We were in town for a family reunion, and visited many of the homes of my family. The White Ginger Cottage, was a refreshingly clean and updated home, which made it very nice to come "home" to, in the evenings. The king size bed was super comfortable. I also loved that they had many of the things you have and use at your own house like:dirty clothes hamper, beach towels, bug spray, hair dryer, extra toothpaste and ziploc baggies. My sister lives just on the other side of the walking park near this home, so I definitely plan on using this home again when I am in town!
Cozy, modern, convenient - an awesome value!
Diana's rental cottage was just the right size for me and my two college-aged kids. It had everything we needed and was comfortable and modern, making it way too easy to sleep in late! Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with a bowl of tropical fruit grown in her gardens as well as a package of Kona coffee. Diana was very nice and accommodating and I am so thankful for her help with a last minute task I had to do before leaving the island. I will definitely get a hold of her again the next time I visit (my daughter goes to school at UH Hilo so I imagine I'll be visiting often 😊).
Homey and very welcoming
They were very friendly as well as affordable. I grew up in hilo so I can say without a doubt they truly have the Aloha spirit!!
Clean, updated and comfortable.
I highly recommend this location for a stay on the Big Island. Diana and Juan were very welcoming and I feel like I have new friends. I could see the pride they took in their place as soon as we arrived. The accommodations are updated, clean, and private. Diana surprised us with a welcoming breakfast the first day and also had provided some local fruit to get us started. Everything was equipped with clean towels, linens and all the necessities for a comfortable stay. I give them 5 stars well deserved.
sauber, freundlich, alles ok
