Perfect spot to get away
The cabin was just like the posting showed. I walked in, and felt right at home. Spent four nights just getting away, and felt completely comfortable. I will be coming back again, and looking to stay at this little piece of happiness.
The bed was so hard that the four nights we were there I sleep in the chair in the living room and this was for our anniversary. I dropped a pill and it rolled under the couch . We moved the couch and i was grossed out there was dust balls cob webs and dryed food under the couch . Then I could not find the pill so I ran my hand down in the side of the chair I was sitting in and came up with popcorn crackers and candy.I did enjoyed the fire place .We have been coming there for years. We were married at Chapel in the pk 17 yrs ago and this was the worst house we have ever stayed in .. You need a new cleaning crew and someone to manage the property better. Also the hot tub was in a very bad location NO VIEW closed into a closet that was a big disapotment. Who wonts to see this we came to see the mts. Sorry but we wont be back
A 1*, really?! This is not even close to being credible. You can't go from a 5* to a 1* and back to a 5* unless the 1* review is just malicious and dishonest. Being unhappy with a couple of things could get a 3* or a 4*, but not a 1*
It is very upsetting to hear that these guests had such a miserable time at my cabin. It is very strange that I have had a 4.9* average for 15 years and the last 25 reviews were all 5*. I have had the same housekeeper for 14 years and if you read the reviews you will see many compliments on how clean it is. It is also odd that these guests stayed for 4 nights and never called, emailed or texted me, my wife or our housekeeper about anything.
The bed is a new firm mattress with a 2 inch pillow top. It seems to have suited everyone, but these guests.
The hot tub is enclosed with lattice for privacy and it says so in the listing information. There is no view from it, but It is not in a closet.
Although it is clear we have a no pet policy, the only thing these guests inquired about was could they bring their "well behaved" poodle. When I said no, they claimed it was a service animal. I questioned them as to what was the disability and what was the dog trained for. They said the "service poodle" was to monitor one of their blood sugar. That being the case, I required them to agree to not leave the dog unattended in the cabin. I had to request twice and gave them several days each time to answer. They finally agreed and even though you would think the dog would need to be with them all the time, I felt like they were annoyed and may not have been completely honest.
This is a first and it is sad, but I don't like anyone to not be fully satisfied staying at my cabin.
When making your decision please read some of the over 130, 5* reviews that I have received over the years and many very recently. We also have many repeat guests, some as many as 5 or 6 times.
If there is anything that is unclear that you are concerned about please ask. If there is anything you are unhappy with during your stay please contact us and we will do everything we can to take care of you.
We try very hard to make your stay the very best it can be.
LOVED the cabin
This place was beautiful. The location was amazing because we zipped back and forth between Gatlinburg and the cabin everyday. The cabin was GORGEOUS. We will definitely be returning.
A Little Romance
Wonderful weekend in the mountains! This cabin was absolutely perfect for our first time here and our wedding weekend.
Had a great stay everything was as described. Nice cozy cabin perfect for a couple looking to get away.
Our Honeymoon Cabin
My wife and I visited “a little romance” for our honeymoon. We very much enjoyed the relaxed nature of the layout and view.
We visited over New Years, and the decorations for the holidays really made us feel valued and “at home”.
We had a difficult time initially with connection to WiFi, but the owner responded very quickly and we were watching Netflix on the couch in no time.
We had the time of our lives in Pigeon Forge and each night had this beautiful place to retreat to.
We’d love to visit again.
Very convenient to everything. 1.5 miles off the parkway, 3 miles to Dollywood and 5 miles to Gatlinburg and the National Park.
