My friend and I stayed at the property to visit our San Diego friends. The property was amazing. We would come home every night and enjoy our company around the firepit. The apartment is so cozy. We got to briefly meet Bill and Tiffany. They are such kind people and gave us several suggestions for activities and places to visit.
I don't have to say "I plan to tell my friends to stay here" because we have already told our friends and family - if they visit they MUST stay here.
This property was so gorgeous inside and out...they literally thought of everything you could need! Inside the property was so aesthetically pleasing and I wish we would have gotten a chance to experience the fire pit!
A truly wonderful setting for our visit to San Diego
Bill and Tiffany were wonderful hosts. Their home is amazing with lots of history and spectacular views. This location is centrally located close to Little Italy, Balboa Park and the waterfront. The apartment is warm, inviting and tastefully decorated. All of the amenities were provided for a very enjoyable stay. We’d highly recommend this charming apartment for a visit to San Diego!
Gorgeous place on the hill
The apartment was wonderful! Very clean, and beautifully decorated. It was also well stocked with necessities, as well as extras....bottled water, snacks, shampoo, body lotion, etc. The hosts were friendly, fun, and helpful with info about San Diego. We especially enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit with family and friends. We enjoyed dinner at Mona Lisa's in Little Italy, and were able to get there on foot. That restaurant was recommended to us by Bill and Tiffany. We're not used to the noise of big cities, since we live out in the country. I found the airplanes to be too loud, especially early in the morning, though I know some people enjoy them. If you are used to city noise, it probably wouldn't bother you. As we drove around San Diego, we were thankful that we had chosen this rental, and enjoyed seeing it at a distance on the hill. "Hey, there's our house!" Thanks, Bill and Tiffany!
Near trolley line
The apartment is about 0.75 miles from the Trolley line that goes to many parts of the city. If you are using public transportation, the Compass pass daily pass is $5 a day. The Compass pass can be purchased at a kiosk at the airport. The pass is good for city buses. Bus route 992 takes you from the airport to downtown San Diego.
My husband and I very much enjoyed staying at the home of Bill and Tiffany Heon. They could not have been more gracious hosts. We were beautifully welcomed and introduced to all additional perks such as bottled water, coffee, snacks, etc. They provided extras such as picnic coolers, beach chairs and extra equipment to enjoy the beach. Our accommodations were spotless and beautifully decorated.
I would highly recommend their VHBO.
Walking Distance / short drive from Downtown, Little Italy, Airport and San Diego Harbor.
