The apartment was perfect for our family of 3. The second bedroom gave our 16 year son the space that he wanted and it had a king size bed (which he loved).
We arrived late in the evening, with the simple door code to get in and the close parking stall, it was easy to get in and the lights were on for us.
It's the little things that made this apartment feel like a home; the welcome wine & chocolates (thank you) - having coffee and coffee filters, plastic food wrap and small containers for leftovers and picnic lunches, a cooler bag and frozen ice packs for the picnic, toilet paper, paper towel, a laundry basket, extra pillows, dish and hand soap and the extra cloth shopping bags (no plastic shopping bags are used in Hawaii). Also provided (and used) were beach towels and chairs.
The A/C was there but we didn't need to use it, the floor fans and the trade winds were enough.
Although the beach directly in front of the building is closed, the area to the right was open and the beach and water were fantastic.
This was a great apartment and we hope to return soon.
